Feng Jicai, born in 1942, is nearly 80 years old, familiar people call him "Da Feng", although I am not familiar with him, but also want to call him so affectionately.
I don't know much about Da Feng, only that I have browsed his life on the Internet and read several of his books. Impression left:
One is that he is mentally like a child, which is Wang Meng's evaluation of Da Feng, which I think is very appropriate. How to say it? When immersed in his articles, the image of a big child will slowly emerge, he lives a real, pure, and somewhat spontaneous life. As one of the mountain people he met on his travels abroad put it, "Man's age is entirely up to him." A person who does not want to grow up will eventually live like a child.
One is that he strives fervently for his ideals. The most fatal thing for cultural people is to revel in imagination and detach from reality. Da Feng, on the other hand, not only has lofty ideals, but also practices his mission in a down-to-earth manner. He already knew the Mandate of Heaven and did what he was told. He had a lecture entitled "I'm Seventy-Five Years Old, I Still Have Ideals," in which he said, "My career is only for him to be brought to an end, and I have no right to end it." He likened his career image to the "four carriages": literature, painting, cultural heritage protection and education, and fought for it all his life. It's good to live for your ideals!
One is that he truly experiences the beauty of life. People seem to live on the same earth, but they live in different worlds. When people reach a certain state, it is like opening the "heavenly eyes", they can perceive the more subtle things in life, and they can find and approach the beauty that is everywhere. For example, he said, "Spring smells first" and "Summer is melted by itself," and spring, summer, autumn, and winter are alive in his world. For example, childhood memories, flower face, Niangniang Palace, Kuaishou Liu, poke horse honeycomb, these childhood memories are precipitated into honey. And for the study, bookshelves, desks, calendars and other ordinary things, we will find that life is nothing more than living ourselves. One is how to look at suffering. Suffering, which is always painful for people, seems to be an indisputable fact. But those who have attained enlightenment often have a different understanding of suffering. Da Feng said, "Bitterness is the honey of life." All the gains of life are pressed under this heavy bitter word, but below half of the bitter word is nothing. You have exhausted all your strength in life, and the last thing you have received and the desire you originally received have gone thousands of miles. "Where is the gap between people? It's the world of difference in cognition. We treat suffering as suffering, and people treat suffering as honey. If a man treats suffering as honey, what else can God and the devil do with him? If you think about it, all our abilities seem to have been honed from suffering. Suffering is the nourishment of our growth.
I grew up in the midst of ten years of turmoil. Because there is no bumpy road to life, no tribulations, no sacrifices, there is no literature that is truly powerful, discovered, and valuable. On the contrary, I often blame life for being too loving and forgiving to me, and if it pushes me deeper into the bottom, I may find a deeper meaning of life. In the midst of pleasure and suffering, the true interest in literature must be willing to choose the latter.
One is how to look at death. Death is a fear that haunts the depths of everyone's soul. With death, life seems to be a tragedy forever. A person who cannot conquer death is doomed to be unable to attain happiness. So, how do wise men view death? Da Feng said, "Since every life is leaving after creating another life, what is death?" Isn't death just a transformation of life, a change of melody, a change of picture? Then what in the world is more solemn, more sacred, more fascinating than death! Sacrifice one's great death for the sake of rebirth..." We can't imagine that death is associated here with the words solemn, sacred, charming. When death becomes fascinating, what is there to fear in life? It's amazing to think about how powerful the power of cognition really is. In one thought, tormented by death, in one thought, rejoicing in death! Where is the distance between this? One thought.
One is how to look at life. Some people always ask, what is the meaning of life? In fact, the meaning of life is all in life. The way you live, you give meaning to life. Life is like a blank piece of paper, and each of us is a painter. In reality, some people are trapped by life, tortured by life, and painful by life, while others are happy for life, surprised by life, and intoxicated by life. What's the gap? At the end of the day, it's still a thought. Da Feng said, "Oh, life, you are so charming... Even if it is long gone, it is also reluctant to cut people; even if it is unfortunate, it can gradually be transformed into a deep poem. "Life, so wonderful! Although I do not yet have the vision of a wise man, I have also found that those who live a certain realm will always indulge in everything we ignore, and in their articles, they record such ordinary things, they can glimpse the beauty of the world from a gust of wind, a drop of rain, a cloud, a crescent moon, a grain of sand. Therefore, you will find that what people need to live is not to create surprises, but to find surprise and wonderful eyes.
We always say that life does not treat people badly. That is to say that when life covers you with boundless cold, it will definitely give you a match. It depends on whether you know the goods, whether you can wipe it, warm and illuminate your heart.
