In the bustling and hustle and bustle of Hong Kong, "Life That Keeps Standing" is a work full of oval structures that covers the meadows that make up Tamar Park. The installation glows with a variety of soft colors at night, contrasting with the stiff, motionless posture of the surrounding buildings, echoing the ebb and flow of human emotions and nature.

The ovoid (egg-like) can stand continuously anywhere. The ovoid can continue to stand even if it is pushed down, blown down by the wind, or slapped down by the waves. When the ovoid is pushed down, blown down by the wind, or slapped down by the waves, it glows and sounds while quickly resuming its standing. The light will also spread to the surrounding ovoid and trees, and the transmitted light will cause it to emit a sound, echo and diffuse.

When the light extends from the depths of the tree, it means that there is someone on the other side, or there is a wind blowing, or a wave crashing. In this way, people will be more aware of the existence of other people and the environment in the same space than usual.

When the wind is still and no one touches it, the ovoid will start to slowly flicker and flicker.

Stretching from land to sea, each glowing ovoid responds to touch and movement. When pushed down by wind, waves, or human power, these resilient forms rise and change color, triggering a chain reaction with nearby sculptures and suggesting how humans and nature are affected by their environment. This is especially evident in the wobbly structures that are partially submerged in the sea, which are constantly affected by changes in ocean conditions. Each unique component works together to create an inspiring dialogue in which the viewer, their surroundings, and the physicality of the work itself are communicated.

teamLab: Light Ripple Also included is "Echoing Trees", which will run until June 2.
