Obtained the national invention patent

During the Reign of the Qing Dynasty, Chen Biao's great-grandfather opened a meat swallow shop in Fuzhou, and the craft of beating meat swallow has been passed down for 152 years.

In 1978, Chen Biao's father, Chen Yihai, hung a sign with the "Yihai Meat Swallow". In 1979, the 17-year-old Chen Biao began to learn to make meat swallows, and although he is now nearly a flower armor, his strong arms can still show the skill of "a thousand hammers and hundreds of refinements".

After he took over in 1989, he began to "toss": Fuzhou Huarong Supermarket and Wal-Mart Supermarket opened, yihai Meat Swallow was the first Meat Swallow brand to enter the station; he also set up offices in Hangzhou and other places to supply restaurants.

It is worth mentioning that Chen Biao spent nearly 4 years to develop ready-to-eat swallow silk and obtained the first national invention patent for traditional snacks in Fuzhou.

Although Chen Biao has been working hard, the results have not been satisfactory. In 2006, he even sold two houses to pay off his 600,000 yuan debt. But even in the most difficult times, he never thought of giving up the meat swallow business or changing careers. "The craftsmanship left by the ancestors does not dare to lose or cannot be lost." Chen Biao said that at his insistence, every member of the family will now play the craft of meat swallow, and can go up at any time when needed.

The 70-year-old Lin Feng, Chen Yihai's big apprentice, has been "sealed" for 21 years, and was invited to Help in Minyue Water Town on the same day. He said: "At that time, the top ten 'Fighting Yanlang' in Fuzhou were passed down very little. Therefore, the persistence of Yihai Meat Swallow is even more valuable. ”

Chen Biao still remembers that once the sweet potato powder on his swallow skin was not swept clean, and his father saw it and angrily broke the swallow skin and threw it on the ground. His father's "harshness" made Chen Biao have high requirements for the quality and process of the product, and he studied and formulated the first technical quality index for the production of meat swallow in Fuzhou, which was reviewed and identified by the former Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau as the technical standard for the production of meat swallow in Fujian Province.

It is reported that in addition to providing boiled meat swallows, Minyue Water Town Yihai Meat Swallow Branch also has fried meat swallows, steamed meat swallows, mixed swallow silk, swallow ball skewers, etc., and customers can also watch the performance of beating meat swallows here.

As an ambassador for the promotion of Fujian cuisine, Chen Biao hopes to build a Fuzhou Meat Swallow Culture Research Base through intangible cultural heritage research and study, relying on the exhibition hall, so that people can understand the meat swallow culture of Fuzhou through an immersive interactive experience.

Chen Biao pointed to a report by the Fuzhou Evening News on the display wall since 1982 that the evening newspaper had witnessed the development of Yihai Meat Swallow. He revealed that a new round of "Yihai model" meat swallow industry national layout has been launched, in the Internet era, he will play the card of instant swallow silk, so that Yihai meat swallow can be carried forward.
