The 5 Chinese players participating in the competition are Ding Liren, Wei Yi, Bu Xiangzhi, Yu Yangyi and Ju Wenjun, the 3 foreign players are Russia's Vichugov, Hungary's Laporte, Bulgaria's Topalov, and the average rating of the 7 male grandmasters is as high as 2736 points. Among them, China's Ding Liren, Wei Yi, Bu Xiangzhi, Yu Yangyi and Hungary's Laporte have all won the championships of the previous Super League.
