Recently, under the supervision and promotion of the Danyang Municipal Discipline Inspection Commission Supervision Commission, the city's multi-departmental joint investigation and handling of the case of illegal charging of private parking spaces has eradicated this "cancer" that is entrenched near the Glasses City.
Since July this year, the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision has, in accordance with the unified deployment of the superiors, regarded the special rectification of public parking fee management as an important part of the practical activities of "I do practical things for the masses" in the study and education of party history, and held a special meeting at the first time to deploy special rectification work, thoroughly investigate and rectify the problem of using public parking resources for personal gain and corruption, and further standardize the management of public parking charges in the city.
Efforts should be made to "cooperate" and concentrate forces on strengthening supervision. In accordance with the principle of "each taking responsibility for its own responsibilities and grasping and managing it together", we will work with relevant units to conduct a joint inspection of the city's public parking charges, find the problems accurately, find the truth, find the whole, prescribe the right medicine, quickly rectify the existing problems, and effectively form a work pattern of linkage and synchronous advancement from top to bottom. Focus on adopting methods such as daily visits and platoons, publishing reporting supervision telephones, and network reporting websites to conduct comprehensive supervision and inspection of the field of public parking charges.

Focus on inspecting road parking spaces, park square parking lots, independently constructed parking lots, parking lots equipped with public facilities, internal parking facilities of government agencies, enterprises and public institutions, and parking lots for street community land, etc., and concentrate on rectifying illegal settings, illegal charges, incomplete facilities, and irregular systems. Up to now, a total of 12 inspection teams have been dispatched to inspect 54 parking lot sections, of which 20 have been charged, involving 1882 parking spaces, and 130 urban public parking lots, covering 18173 parking spaces.

At the end of September, a new parking lot was added in Danyang City, adding 206 parking spaces and free of charge for 2 hours, which greatly facilitated the surrounding citizens and merchants.
