My first impression of Jiang Xin was the offbeat temperament of her first two albums and the sound that gave people a sense of loneliness, as well as her book "Days of Long Hair Flying". In recent years, I feel that Teacher Jiang Xin's musical style is constantly changing. This interview was jointly completed by WenWu Suitan and partner Beijing Qilin Shengteng Culture Wang Junlie (mainly engaged in music festivals, concerts, advertising endorsements, record production and various activities), in addition, most of the record pictures in this article were provided by Wang Junlie, thank you!

1 You are not from a science class, what other factors besides the friends around you have put you on the path of music?
Although he is not from a science class, he has loved singing since he was a child, and he can basically listen to it. I remember that I was selected to conduct at the Junior Palace School just after a few music lessons in the first grade of elementary school, but my parents objected, because their hope was that I could concentrate on studying and being admitted to a prestigious university in the future, and have a "serious career"; but even so, this love also ran through my entire elementary school, middle school and college years... So I dropped out of school to sing when I met a few rock and roll boys, more because I was originally such a seed, but I met the right soil, temperature and sunlight, and was awakened by similar seeds...

2 "Blossom Undefeated" this album many people feel too personality and too different after listening to it, what do you think? It feels like your first two shots are all very characterful music.
The first two albums are more professionally thanks to the producer Zhu Xiaomin and the entire production team, they are all particularly excellent professionals in the field, are my teachers, and it was my luck to meet them when I first debuted; as for personality and otherness, I probably have a little bit of it...
3 "Two-fifths" is a very characteristic female vocal compilation album that you participated in, telling the story of the time.
The two songs included in that sheet, "Growing Up" and "Attitude", were actually tracks from my second album that I was about to record in the studio at the end of 1996, and my second album in the plan at that time was called "Strange Costumes"... However, due to the fact that Guo Dawei, the head of Scorpion Culture at that time (who was also the agent of the Tang Dynasty at the time), suddenly postponed this schedule and decided to record "Goodbye Zhang Ju" in honor of Zhang Ju first... Then Scorpio culture also failed to recover the cost of piracy after the listing of "Goodbye Zhang Ju", and those works were shelved until the recording of "Two-fifths" only chose two of them... There are also some works that are included in "May", and some works, like the original album's eponymous song "Strange Costume", because after 5 years my mood has changed, I feel that it is no longer what I want to express, so I have not recorded it again...
4 The album "Pure" feels like a beginning of your change.
It was clear and firm, but looking back now, it was just a little older...
5 "Days with Long Hair" is an autobiographical novel, what is the reduction rate of this novel?
All works come from life, novels are, music, poetry and even painting are actually... I don't think it's necessary to find out how much those works have to do with the creator's life, we read books and listen to music to compare our own lives and hearts, and draw useful nutrition for our own lives...
6In the Gifts compilation album you were one of the three female musicians involved, was there anything memorable at the time?
"Gift" for me is actually the second time to participate in the collection in honor of Zhang Ju, in "Goodbye Zhang Ju", I also used to play for the Tang Dynasty's "Moon Dream" harmony... At that time, I felt very warm, because in the past ten years, although some things are not human, but the old friends still remember the friends and dreams of youth, and they can get together to make music, which is not only a memorial to Zhang Ju, but also a memorial to our youth who once walked side by side with Zhang Ju on the road of youth and dreams...
7You have worked with many famous musicians, which one are you most impressed with? Is there anything interesting about the process of cooperation?
I can't just talk about one person, I can't just say one thing, maybe I'll write another novel...
8 In 2020 you released your new album "Years Like Songs" How do you think this album is different from your previous album? The single "Rebirth" was not included.
"Rebirth" is a separate cooperation between me and Xu Wei, the investment is not an extraterrestrial star; and "Years Like a Song" is an extraterrestrial investment, so it is not the same thing... As for the difference, it is a little bit older, because the recording process of this record is also another trough and rebirth that I have experienced in my life...
9What do you think of Rock 'n' Roll in China today?
I don't just love rock 'n' roll, I want to say that I love music, and I feel that life benefits from it deeply, and now I feel that music is the lover who will never turn around in my life, will always be with me, and I deeply agree with What Beethoven said - music is god's best gift to mankind; I don't feel that we only live in the here and now, the soul can live in all the times and places we love, all the people we love...

12Do you have any goals that you haven't achieved?
