"The death of a special forces member is the responsibility of the government." Atambayev's son expressed his views on his father's arrest and the current situation in Kyrgyzstan.

Kadir said that when his father was arrested, he was on vacation with his mother in Lake Issyk-Kul and watched the news to learn that something had happened. He saw it as a well-planned incident that attempted to cause chaos and disorder, and in the end put all the blame on his father.

Kadir said no more than 20 members of the special forces team were on the scene to capture Atambayev. But the day after the incident, on a third day, the National Security Council reported they had lost more than 40 guns. This raises the suspicion that the government is deliberately trying to get weapons from Atambayev's supporters.

Kadir believed his father had not fired during the confrontation with the special forces. He said he had carefully inspected the aisles on the second and third floors after returning home and found no traces of blood. According to previous official reports, a special forces member was hit in the chest by a bullet. If it were true, there should be blood left in the house. He thought Atambayev was just bluffing, lying that he would shoot at the special forces. Atambayev had nothing to do with the death of the special forces team members. Atambayev only kindly persuaded himself to take on the mistakes of others.

Kadir expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased special forces member, but he believed that the death of the special forces member should not be the responsibility of Atambayev, but the government.

"A group of people came to us on Sunday (August 11) and I don't know what they did with us," Qadir said. All I know is that they seem to be the ones in charge of the investigation after the fact. Given the chaotic clashes that have preceded this house, I fear that the government in power will never reveal the truth. ”

The Kyrgyz population knows very little about atambayev family members. Mr. Qadir said it was because our father strictly forbade us to get involved in politics or to run the country. Atambayev demanded that they pledge never to set foot in politics. Qadir said he had no intention of leaving Kyrgyzstan, but he must now break his promise to his father because "it disturbs my conscience to remain silent in this situation and watch everything go into chaos." My heart demanded that I at least stand up and say something. ”

From August 7 to August 8, special forces of Kyrgyzstan's National Security Council arrested former President Atambayev, according to kyrgyzstan's Kadus News Network. On the evening of 7 August, kyrgyzstani special forces and atambayev supporters clashed fiercely in atambayev's mansion in the village of I Tash, a surgical surgeon on the outskirts of the Kyrgyz capital, Bishkek, and the standoff between the two sides continued until daylight hours on the 8th. Atambayev then surrendered in the second round of arrests launched by him on the afternoon of the 8th and was escorted by the police to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan. Atambayev's lawyer Sergei Sliesarev said on the 9th that Atambayev is currently locked up in the isolation interrogation room of the Kyrgyzstan National Security Council, and the situation will continue until the 26th.
