Samsonov, a 45-year-old table tennis legend, announced his retirement from the Tokyo Olympics

Beijing time on July 7 Table tennis evergreen Vladimir Samsonov confirmed that he will withdraw from the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

The 45-year-old veteran is one of the most beloved athletes in table tennis, having competed six times since the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.
