Alexander Skarsgaard

Alexander Skarsgaard is a Swedish actor. He received attention for his role in the vampire Eric in the HBO hit American drama "True Love Is Like Blood". The handsome Alexander Skarsgaard was voted Sweden's sexiest man in 1999. Alexander Skarsgaard is the son of the famous Swedish actor StrandSkargaard, who has starred in films such as "Breaking the Waves" and "Dancer in the Dark", and appeared on stage with his father at the age of 8 in "Okai and His World", and soon became a popular child star. Yet Alexander Skarsgaard, who cared little about his stardom, for eight years turned down all roles in favor of studying politics, architecture and service in the Navy. In 1997, Alexander Skarsgard enrolled at the Marymount School of Drama in New York City, resumed his acting career, and soon after worked on English-language films such as Supermodel, Apocalypse, and The Last Death. In Hollywood, Alexander Skarsgard's most admired performance is the performance of character actor Gary Oldman.
