Kevin Durant is back with compelling betting odds on the Thunder reunion, and it's time for Durant to start a new chapter.
Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns were swept by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the NBA playoffs, and according to recent reports, Durant is not happy with his role in Phoenix.
Due to being swept and the impact of rumors, Durant's future with the Suns has become uncertain.
According to the odds recently released by Betonline that Durant does not return to the Suns' next team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, who started his career with Durant, are currently leading at the best odds (+400) and are expected to sign the future Hall of Famer.
The New York Knicks (+500), Miami Heat (+600), Philadelphia 76ers (+700) and San Antonio Spurs (+900) round out the top five, respectively.
New York, Miami, and Philadelphia are all competitive teams that could be potential options for Durant.
At the same time, many stars have been linked to San Antonio thanks to the presence of Victor Wenbayama.
However, the Thunder are one of the best teams in the NBA this season, and Oklahoma City is on the verge of sweeping the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Thunder's main problem is their lack of experience, so adding Durant could be an option.
Of course, since leaving the Thunder in 2016, fans have not been happy with Durant.

In the 2016 NBA playoffs, Durant left the Thunder to sign with the Golden State Warriors.
Durant then won two championships in Golden State, and the Golden State team had established itself as an emerging dynasty before Durant joined.
Many fans and analysts in the NBA world have criticized Durant's choice to sign with Golden State, calling it a shortcut for his failure to win a championship with the Thunder.
Perhaps Durant can redeem the trust of Thunder fans by returning to Oklahoma City, and in order to make that happen, he will need to request a trade from the Suns.

If the Suns decide to trade Kevin Durant, the Thunder will be a team to watch.
Of course, Oklahoma City's playoff performance will also be considered. If Oklahoma City are eliminated in the second or third round, then they may feel that it makes sense to add a veteran star like Durant.
But if the Thunder make it to the NBA Finals, then Oklahoma City may avoid making any major changes.
