At the beginning of September, the Nine Yang Festival is one of the "traditional eight festivals" in China, because "nine" is the number of anode poles, and the two yang numbers of "nine nine" are heavy, so it is called "heavy yang". Chongyang Festival can be traced back to the autumn sacrifice activities of the worship of gods in ancient times, and since ancient times, Chongyang Day has had customs such as ascending to pray for blessings, worshiping gods and ancestors, feasting and drinking for life, and is one of the most important festivals in autumn. Du Xunhe (c. 846 – c. 904), courtesy name Yanzhi, called himself Jiuhuashan. Legend has it that Du Xunhe was the son of Du Mu's concubine, which is recorded in the Yuan Dynasty's "Biography of Tang Caizi", but the Southern Song Dynasty Zhou Bida and other investigations confirmed that it was a false rumor. Du Xunhe was born in a slightly cold background, was in the chaotic world at the end of the Tang Dynasty, and was in the middle of the tang dynasty, but he did not give an official; he once had a poem praising Zhu Wen, the grandfather of Liang, so he was appreciated and recommended by Zhu Wen, and was awarded the Hanlin Bachelor and the Main Guest Wailang, but he died soon after.
Du Xunhe had a bumpy career, but he was talented, enjoying a high reputation in the poetry circle at the end of the Tang Dynasty, a family of his own, the poetic style was plain and natural, simple and clear, especially good at palace words, and his poem "Spring Palace Complaint" was called "the first palace word of the Tang Dynasty" by the "Shogunate Yan Xianlu" written by Bi Zhongquan in the Song Dynasty, and the good sentence "The wind warms the birds and the sound is broken, and the sun is high and the flowers are heavy" is quite praised by posterity.
