Reporter: At the beginning, your video shooting and creativity were done independently? Is it a relatively "free" state?
Redundant and Mao Maojie: My current "book" is also my own thoughts. My team may give me a lot of ideas, but I will supervise it until it is finally perfected and reviewed until it is released. I work every video, but now there are a lot of people who are helping me.
Reporter: After having the "packaging" of the team, is the video more perfect or better than before?
Redundant and Mao Maojie: I don't think it's in the packaging. I don't think my videos are packed in any way, very straightforward, and say whatever you want. Because I think comedy is something that doesn't need baggage, and what you want to express doesn't need any packaging. The team actually helped me a lot, for example, there will be a lot of people to discuss this matter with me is really important, everyone will cooperate very well.

Redundant and Mao Maojie: In fact, my mentality is relatively good. As long as I am really doing what I like and working hard to do content, it has been a year now, and everyone still recognizes my content. Reporter: Do you like the image of "Mao MaoJie"?
Redundant and Mao Maojie: Like. I like it very much, because through the image of "Mao Mao Jie", the idea I want to express to the audience is that Mao Mao Jie is a very straightforward, speechless, she has nothing to hide in the heart, there will be no suffocation, big grin female image.
In fact, I hope that everyone around me is like this, no matter what I encounter, don't hide it, don't let myself have any worries, do what I think, and make myself happy and happy is the most important.
Reporter: Willing to wear the clothes of "Mao MaoJie" and show her image?
Redundant and Mao Maojie: Yes. But I was reluctant when I was out in private, because "Mao Mao Sister" was only one of my characters, and I couldn't live in real life with that kind of role.
Reporter: When someone on the street encounters someone called "Mao MaoJie", will you give you the illusion?
Redundant and Mao Maojie: No. I walk down the street, and that's what I am now. But my fans can recognize me, and more exaggeratedly, even if I wear a hat and mask, they can recognize me. I was surprised, "So you can all recognize me?" "Because I don't want to cause trouble for others a lot of times, I will "disguise" it.
Reporter: What does "trouble" mean?
Redundant and Mao Maojie: For example, when you walk into a shop, everyone is in a calm state, and someone suddenly sees "Mao Maojie" and will take a picture with me with his mobile phone, thus breaking this calm. From my own standpoint, I don't think it's good because it affects other people, and I don't want to bother them.

Reporter: Is "Mao MaoJie" the real you, or is it a network character created?
Redundant and Mao Maojie: This character is a role for me, and I want her kind of personality, that kind of look, and that way of acting. In fact, "Mao Mao Sister" is just a role.
Reporter: What elements of life does it come from?
Redundant and Mao Maojie: From a lot. Like my mom, a lot of female friends around me, and the things they see. And some of my male friends around me, will also share some of his girlfriend's small things, from the details of life: my mother is in the clothing business, from the time I was in elementary school to look at her, now my mother is still doing this line, so I collected a lot of information.
Reporter: Many of your video works are standing in the female perspective and speaking for women?
Duo Yu and Mao Maojie: Many times, I see my mother and many of my friends around me, especially the kind of female friends who are married, and I will find that they will have a lot of moments in their lives that are wronged and involuntarily. I probably made these videos out of concern for women and to get their attention to these details. I have a lot of female friends around me, and there are more female friends who talk to me.
Reporter: Have you ever thought of jumping out of the image of "Mao MaoJie" and being your true self?
Redundant and Mao Maojie: I am just being myself now. Playing "Mao Mao Sister" is just a job for me, a hobby of mine, how I should be in life, what kind of a person I am in private, there is no difference at all from before I was fired. What I look like now, what I was like before the fire. This state has not changed, I will still accompany my mother to the supermarket to buy things, have friends about singing and playing together or will go, the tour will still go to travel, how to play how to play, there is no change.
C. Enter the film and television circle
Reporter: Is acting your interest?
Redundant and Mao Maojie: It is my hobby and interest. I do other things and sometimes I may be impatient, but when performing, such as shooting 8 hours a day in the crew, my scenes may take 3 hours. When there is no my role, the director let me rest, I can watch in the monitor next to me for two or three hours, I will be very happy, happy, feel that I have found my true self.
Reporter: When was the first video contact with entertainers and their co-productions? What was the idea?
Redundant and Mao Maojie: It should be around November last year, and Xiao Yang. At that time, after my video was all on the Internet, Xiao Yang's team found a celebrity friend I knew. At the beginning, I was still a fan of the celebrity friend and belonged to the netizen relationship. Then she sent me a private message on the Douyin platform, saying that Xiao Yang's team wanted to co-produce with me. I was so nervous that I didn't fall asleep that night.
Reporter: It's equivalent to meeting a showbiz star for the first time, or will there be a sense of tension?
Redundant and Mao Maojie: Very nervous. After all, I felt that I had just come out at that time, belonging to a blind play state, and there would still be pressure for a star to find me to co-shoot. Now in a state of habit, more will worry about the content, will not worry about who to match, but still nervous. Try your best to make adjustments! If you have more times, you may get used to it.
Reporter: The next step will be to choose to enter the film and television circle and become an "artist" like them?
Redundant and Mao Maojie: In fact, I did not deliberately say that I wanted to become an "artist", I think that is a dream of mine, to be able to make movies, it is a dream of my childhood. I love acting, and I think it would be nice to be able to stand in front of the big screen and bring works to the audience!
