On the morning of April 8th, the opening ceremony of Yuncheng County Lacquerware Art Exhibition and Arts and Crafts Master Li Cheng Art Exhibition was held in the lecture hall of Yunzhou Museum.
Han Guangjie, vice president of the China Qilu Cultural Promotion Association and chairman of the Heze Chinese Culture Promotion Association, Zhao Dongqing, former researcher of the Heze Municipal Government Office and president of the Heze Qilu Cultural Promotion Association, Yang Guangmin, professor of the School of Fine Arts and Design of Jimei University, director of the Art Research Institute of Jimei University, expert in the evaluation of intangible cultural heritage of Fujian Province, and honorary chairman of the Xiamen Civic Writers and Artists Association, Yi Chaojie, member of the Standing Committee of the Yuncheng County CPC Committee and director of the Propaganda Department, and Chu Jingyun, member of the party group of the county government, attended the opening ceremony.
In his speech, Chu Jingyun introduced the development process of lacquerware, and this exhibition will surely promote the inheritance and development of lacquerware skills in our county, and further promote the prosperity and progress of Yuncheng County's cultural undertakings and arts and crafts industry.
Yang Guangmin, professor of the School of Fine Arts and Design of Jimei University and director of the Institute of Art of Jimei University, introduced: Lacquer art is a traditional handicraft of the Chinese nation with a history of more than 8,000 years, lacquerware decoration technology has been included in the national intangible cultural heritage protection list, Qilu Land as one of the birthplaces of lacquer art, with rich lacquer art resources and lacquer art tradition.
Li Cheng donated the elaborate lacquerware artwork "Long Live the Motherland" to the Yunzhou Museum, expressing the feeling of not forgetting his original heart and caring for his hometown. The relevant person in charge of the Yuncheng County Culture and Tourism Bureau awarded Li Cheng the honorary certificate of lacquerware intangible cultural heritage project and non-genetic inheritor.
Li Cheng, a native of Yuncheng, Shandong, graduated from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts majoring in arts and crafts, master of arts and crafts in Shaanxi Province, founder of Datang Lacquer Art Workshop, curator of Shaanxi LacquerWare Art Museum, director of China Arts and Crafts Association, secretary general of Shaanxi Arts and Crafts Association, deputy director of Yuncheng County Return to Entrepreneurship (Xi'an) Service Station.
There are more than 100 lacquerware artworks on display, most of which are Li Cheng's works and the works of art he has immersed in. Among them, the lacquer paintings "Thousand Layer Bottom" and "Water Margin 108 General" on display left a very deep impression on the audience, so that everyone deeply experienced the cultural heritage, rich connotation and rich regional characteristics of Yuncheng and the aesthetic value of the folk art charm emitted by traditional crafts.
Holding this exhibition reflects the enthusiasm of successful people from Yuncheng represented by Li Cheng to give back their hometown kindness, repay Sangzi, support the cultural development of their hometown, and contribute to the development of the arts and crafts industry in Yuncheng County.
