The protagonist of this concert is Zheng Ping, a vocal music teacher at Hunan Vocational College of Arts, a national second-level actor and associate professor.
In September 2018, Zheng Ping, as a visiting scholar of young and middle-aged backbone teachers in colleges and universities of the Ministry of Education, came to the China Conservatory of Music for a one-year study, during which she studied under Zhou Qiang, a doctor of vocal music and tenor singer, associate professor of the Vocal Department of the China Conservatory of Music, and Zhou Qiang studied under the famous vocal educator Mr. Jin Tielin. On June 2, 2019, Zhou Qiang held the "Zhou Qiang Doctor Graduation Concert" at the Concert Hall of the China Conservatory of Music, which was full of friends and was widely praised inside and outside the circle, and the number of online live broadcasts reached nearly 1.2 million people. In 2018, Zhou Qiang completed the "Chinese University MOOC - Strong Singing And Music Classroom", and the number of registered visits to the project reached 50,000 and won the "Most Beautiful MOOC" award.

The choice of repertoire in the second half of the concert highlights Zheng Ping's profound vocal skills. Since she was a child, Zheng Ping has loved to sing and performed on stage many times, and is affectionately called "Little Lark" by her father and fellow villagers in her hometown. In 2001, Zheng Ping was admitted to the China Conservatory of Music to pursue an undergraduate degree, under the supervision of doctoral supervisor, the famous soprano singer Professor Yang Shuguang, singing "Morning in Miaoling" during the graduation exam has been praised by many professors and experts.
