Speaking of the Blue Jays, what was your first impression (not to mention the cheap Nissan car that came out 10 years later)? Let me first talk about my impression, which is divided into two, one is childhood and the other is now!
In fact, bluebird's domestic life is also quite complicated, from the earliest ZS car, but formal introduction, and then to CKD. Later, Dongfeng Yulon changed its face 3 times, of which the blue bird 2 generation has the wind god blue bird and the Nissan blue bird.
How much do you know about bluebirds?
The impression of bluebird in childhood was really good, and I felt that this car god general existence was real.
Do you know? At that time, the Blue Bird 3 generation mainly played the technology card. In that year, head-up displays, folding DVDs, car phones, these can be called luxury technology configurations. The penetration rate of DVDs and car phones was lower than that of L2 assisted driving today. Therefore, when I had a superficial understanding of the car, I felt that this car was a god. In fact, the earliest SSS was really a strong model when it came out, and in the early 90s, the 2.0L SR20 engine had 145 horsepower. What is this concept? The L33, which was on sale in 2014, was only 136 hp. So this second major overhaul, commonly known as the Blue Bird III model, although still equipped with the SR20 that has been in service for more than ten years, in the same year, the power is still considered to be excellent.

So I've always said that bluebird is a superficial luxury car, with a very fashionable and luxurious design, very high-tech equipment, but it is a very old platform.
The steering wheel style comes from the earliest demeanor A33, but with more wood grain patches and electroplated logos than demeanor. The function buttons on both sides are also different, although the two sides of the car are covered with buttons, but the left side is multimedia adjustment, the right side is the car phone control, and there is no cruise control.
How outrageous was the Blue Jay configuration of the year?
We go from top to bottom, and the first thing that catches our eye is this rearview mirror that can show. I don't say that you may not guess what this rearview mirror can show?
There are two functions, one is that this car is equipped with the original reversing radar, which is the entry intermediate car of 2003, there is already an original reversing radar, and the configuration is really thick. The next 12 years of tianlai J32 did not exist. And this rearview mirror, one of the functions is that it can show the radar distance, advanced bar hahaha.
The second one is even worse, isn't this car equipped with an on-board phone? We usually enter the number, or have an incoming call, we can show the number in the rearview mirror, too cruel.
Car phones and quartz watches, which at the time were really only a high-end car configuration. This is also the finishing touch of the entire central control, and it has only been around since the third generation of bluebirds.
This central control in the year is also a set of luxury and sense of technology in one of the existence, 10 discS, automatic constant temperature air conditioning, as well as folding DVD, just ask you whether you are satisfied. And this CD player also has a pickup, which is really rare haha.
Folding the DVD is like this after opening, and it was really a showmanship at that time. Of course, the first look is still full of high-grade feeling, and at the same time, it will be very interesting hahaha. However, this outsized screen function is very single, only DVD.
On the left side of the driver's seat, there's also a HUD button, yes, a head-up display that's still an advanced configuration today. Of course, the function at that time was very single, only the speed display, but this was unique at that time.
At that time, the car that was also equipped with this function was also Southeast Lingshuai, which was also a compact car with an extremely perverted configuration, and the top models had HUD, electric sun blinds, electric waist rests, automatic air conditioners and so on.
The combination of the car phone has 3 parts, the button above the center control, the microphone of the central control armrest, and the card slot behind the rear armrest. Holding a phone in the car, think it's funny haha.

Although the model is old, in fact, the bluebird material is still OK, the leather coverage of the seat is higher than that of the grace A33, and the headrest is also leather. Although the configuration of this car is already very high, it is not the top match. The top blue bird is equipped with more co-pilot electric seats and main driving memory functions than this sub-top, and the supreme is more terrifying, and the high-end also has a seat massage function.
However, there is a saying that the seat of this car is not comfortable, not even fit, the back half of the back is too far back, and the position is a little strange hahahahaha.
So why Nissan can make an entry-level mid-level car launched more than a decade ago so favored, you simply can't imagine that this model with a luxury car-only configuration will start at only 160,000.
The back row still looks thick and luxurious, the pleated leather looks warm, and there is a storage box with a cup holder inside to turn over. However, as can be seen in the picture, due to the body size of the U13, the rear space of this car is really small.
The fit feels slightly better than the front row, the stall is barely OK, the central armrest is very high, and it is uphill hahahaha.
Small to small, the model is old to the old, the sense of honor will still give you enough. The rear of this car, there are ashtrays, the door panels still have leather and wood, and the sunshades by the door, which really can't be found in the mid-level car of the year, and the Bluebird is still the cheapest inside. When you get off the back seat, you really get out of an executive motorhome.
The sunshade in the back is also manual hahaha, but the handsome one is electric, but there is, it is already better than many people.
Light yellow trunks are really rare, and this generally only appears in high-end cars. Moreover, compared with the Japanese car of the same level in the bluebird, the covering material and the degree of regularity are actually relatively good.
What was more surprising was that the original tools of this car were completely unopened, and the foam bag was still there. Worthy of the 140,000-kilometer first-hand car, this color is fantastic hahaha.
The original 10-disc CD, many cars equipped with multi-disc CDs at that time, still like to put the disc box in the trunk, it is not very convenient to change the disc, but it has also become a mark of the times.
However, there is a saying that the sound effect of the blue bird is quite general, if it is placed in that year, it belongs to the relatively poor kind. I remember that the audio was a bay manufacturer OEM, forgot what brand, the host has not been dismantled, and do not know haha.
The original factory is brand new jack, really good new, completely untouched hahaha.
Well, this is too absolute, 03 years did not fall too low spare tire, this is my unexpected, this owner estimates that the road has not exploded tires, tire replacement also did not use the habit of spare tires.
Driving up, it is really a surface luxury car
How about driving? I will first say the conclusion here, after all, the car is essentially an entry-level mid-level car in the early 90s, and the texture will certainly not be much better.
However, it is worth affirming that the 145-horsepower SR20 is still quite remarkable in terms of power performance on this car. The engine power output is smooth and linear, the rear output is actually quite good, after all, 7000 rpm is only the red line, after 6000 there is a small outbreak, a bit interesting, which is rare in civilian vehicles haha.
Of course, there are also drawbacks, the sound and vibration of the engine to the cabin is still quite obvious. In other words, there is no texture, and there is no sense of isolation. However, for a car with such a high configuration of several thousand pieces, it is enough to make the power system smooth enough to use well.
The gearbox is also competent, the shifting is very smooth, and you don't feel any setbacks. But if this gearbox is not well maintained, 1 liter 2 will have a setback. However, the gearbox downshift is not active, if you need to pull the speed up, it will be better to use OD directly or pull to the low gear.
But overall, in the non-4th gear situation, the throttle is still very heeled, and the torque converter locks up quickly in the 4th gear and is less willing to unlock.
There is a saying that the steering wheel of this car is okay to steer, and the force feedback is quite comfortable. However, the front of the car is too slow and vague, and the front is basically empty. I also tried a more urgent dodge last night, and I felt that I hit a lot, but the front of the car almost didn't turn around hahaha.
The texture is not mentioned, this car has just done a big maintenance, the whole car oil and water have been replaced, the brake system has been maintained, and the brake pads have also been changed. The legs have also been replaced with new ones, and the idle speed is finally not shaking. Although it is much more normal to drive, it still does not have any texture to speak of, after all, the car platform is still too old. The chassis did not have any toughness, and it could be felt that the suspension stroke was also very short, and it felt like there was no filter on the bad road. Soundproof bar, also quite general.
Summary: I know it's an old house and a new one, but I really like it
I know the Blue Jays have a poor texture, and I also know it's a cheap mid-range car cloaked in a luxury car shell. But I don't know why, I just love it. Its high configuration and luxurious sense can really impress me, not make me feel very cheap.
It can be seen that this blue bird is really doing it with heart, not to fool consumers. I think the Blue Bird is the "surface luxury car" that impresses me the most!
