Kyrgyzstan covers an area of 199,900 square kilometers, with a mouth area of 5.7 million, and 64% of the population is non-sectarian Muslims. It is bordered by Kazakhstan to the north, Uzbekistan to the west, Tajikistan to the southwest, and China to the east.

The earliest records of Kyrgyzstan can be traced back to the 3rd century BC, and are called "Mane Kun" and "Jian Kun" in the "Records of History" and the "Book of Han". From the time of Emperor Wu of the Western Han Dynasty, most of Kyrgyzstan was incorporated into the Chinese map for the first time. Emperor Wu of han also ordered Li Guangli to conquer Dawan (in present-day Fergana Basin in Central Asia) in 104 BC (the first year of the first year of the taichu dynasty) and three years, so that many city-states in the western regions were submitted to Han.

In 102 BC (the third year of the first month), after Li Guangli defeated Dawan, the Western Han court placed emissaries and lieutenants at Luntai (present-day Luntaidong, Xinjiang) and Quli (southwest of present-day Korla, Xinjiang), which was the beginning of the Western Han government's establishment of administrative organs in the western region. Later, he set up the emissaries of Isundu and the protector of the west of Shanshan.

During the Yuan Dynasty, Kyrgyzstan was the land of the Mongol Chagatai Khanate, and the Kyrgyz nation was basically formed in the second half of the 15th century. In the 16th century, under the oppression of Tsarist Russia, he moved here from the upper reaches of the Yenisei River in Central Asia. During the Qing Dynasty, most of the eastern and southern parts of Kyrgyzstan belonged to China's Xinjiang, and the western part belonged to the Kokand Khanate, a vassal state of the Qing Dynasty.

On October 7, 1864, Russia forced the Qing government to sign the "Record of the Survey of the Northwest Frontier between China and Russia", forcibly ceding 440,000 square kilometers of territory in the west of Xinjiang, including the original Chinese territory, most of the land of present-day Kyrgyzstan, which was forcibly occupied by Tsarist Russia in 1876; in 1876, the Kokand Khanate, a vassal state of the Qing Dynasty, was annexed by Tsarist Russia, and at this point, the original Chinese territory and all the land of Kyrgyzstan were annexed by Tsarist Russia.

Today, many people believe that Kyrgyzstan is the most dangerous country for women. Why do you say that, because there is still a marriage robbery system here.

According to relevant data, in Kyrgyzstan, about one third of marriages in the country are caused by kidnapping and forcing women against their will, and about 15,000 women are targeted by suitors every year.

There, young girls can be kidnapped by strangers while walking in the park, shopping in shops, on their way to work or on their way back from university classrooms to their dormitories; Once a woman enters a man's home, she is considered unchaste. In this conservative country, adolescent girls who have lost their virginity and have not been given a home are considered "damaged objects". Once they leave the stranger who kidnapped them, they will never have the opportunity to remarry.

Therefore, in the face of connived violence, about 80% of girls can only helplessly choose to admit their fate in the end, forced to accept the tragic fate of "marrying chickens with chickens, marrying dogs with dogs". In the process of snatching relatives, the girl's parents, grandparents and even other relatives and friends may become "accomplices" in this special kidnapping.

The Kyrgyz authorities were trying to combat the growing illegality of kidnapping women for marriage, but with little success, so the system of marriage snatching was now rampant.

Why is this place committed to marriage snatching? Relevant people say that the custom of "bride snatching" originated in the 12th century. At that time, Muslim tribes began to enter Central Asia, due to the relative lack of resources, the phenomenon of stealing each other's horses and women continued to occur between tribes, and the act of stealing women gradually evolved into the later "bride snatching". Since Kyrgyzstan's independence in 1991, the practice of "bride snatching" is no longer legal, but is now becoming more frequent. Some people believe that this is a way to regain a sense of national identity, and many people point out that today's wedding expenses are rising, and some parents even borrow usurious loans in order to hold a grand wedding for their children, and "robbing the bride" can effectively reduce the cost of marriage.

Of course, in any case, Kyrgyzstan is now a very dangerous country for women, and if you travel there, you must pay attention to safety.
