"Young Babylon" will be a web series
After the novel "Young Babylon" created by the 1905 film network news writer Lu Nei, after being adapted and filmed into a movie, it was recently reported that a web drama would be filmed, by Lin Yuxian ("Roll It! Ashin", "Let's dance! Elephant" as a director, planned to start production in August 2021, filmed in Fujian for 100 days, the show is currently in the casting stage.

"Young Babylon" is one of Lu Nei's "follow trilogies", the story is set in The Early 90s of the last century, Dai Cheng, telling the story of the love, friendship and growing up that Lu Xiaolu encountered in the factory during his youth, the helplessness and sentimentality. The novel was adapted to the big screen in 2015, directed by Xiang Guoqiang and starring Dong Zijian and Li Meng, and won the Best Debut Award at the 23rd Beijing University Student Film Festival, and was shortlisted for the Shanghai International Film Festival and the Tokyo International Film Festival.
