On October 22, Guizhou Zunyi Dongfeng Primary School, commemorating the 85th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army's Long March, was held as scheduled. Under the guidance of the teacher, li Ziyu, a fifth-grade student, launched a "close contact" with the Long March through mobile phones and projection screens.
The "Internet + Long March" education experience demonstration project organized by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage was launched for 100 days, which has set off a wave of "Cloud Travel Long March" on the Internet. No need to go to the spot, just search for the mini program on WeChat, the location information of the Long March cultural relics, important museums, and memorial halls can be visualized, and the Long March cultural relics points near the location are clear at a glance; click on the memorial website, you can send flowers to the martyrs online and hold a simple and solemn memorial ceremony...
In recent years, with the development of digital technology, online models such as "cloud tourism", "cloud exhibition" and "cloud appreciation drama" have gradually been accepted by the public, which also provides an opportunity for the display and dissemination of Long March cultural relics and the development of red tourism. The "Internet + Long March" approach has become a new exploration of protecting revolutionary cultural relics, carrying forward the spirit of the Long March, inheriting the red gene, and empowering the construction of the Long March National Cultural Park with science and technology.
Top-level design, precious relics replay the light
Li Bei, a cultural relics worker from Sichuan, retraces the Long March every year. This year, she has more "electronic equipment" in her hands - the "Long March Cultural Relics Map" mini program, the "Strong Crossing Of Natural Danger" APP, and the electronic manual of research and study activities. "With the help of digital technology, it is much more convenient to go to the Long March sites everywhere."
Open the "Long March Cultural Relics Map" and click on the dots representing each Long March cultural relics point, and the Long March story behind the cultural relics jumps on the screen. A small electronic map records more than 600 battles experienced by the Red Army's Long March, nearly 100 rivers across, and more than 40 high mountains and peaks climbed.
Once upon a time, cultural relics workers like Li Bei carried out the protection of cultural relics of the Long March, and they were quite distressed to see that the ruins along the Long March were damaged to varying degrees.
The Monument to Maotai Ferry, which stands on the banks of the Chishui River, the Monument to the Long March of the Red Army in Songpan, which emits golden light at sunset, and the tomb of Deng Ping, who overlooks the old city of Zunyi... With the increasing attention of the party and the state to the protection of revolutionary cultural relics and the strengthening of the protection and utilization of revolutionary cultural relics at all levels, the precious relics distributed in the vast land of China and stretching over the years have converged into a bright red streamer, inspiring more people to continue to write a new chapter on the new Long March Road.
A series of top-level designs have drawn up a blueprint for the development of the protection of the historical and cultural heritage of the Long March: in 2016, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage and other five departments jointly issued the "Three-Year Action Plan for the Internet + Chinese Civilization"; in 2018, the CPC Central Committee and the State Council issued the "Opinions on the Implementation of the Revolutionary Cultural Relics Protection and Utilization Project (2018-2022)", listing the "Overall Protection Project of the Long March Cultural Route" as one of the six key projects for the protection and utilization of revolutionary cultural relics in the country.
In July 2019, President Xi Jinping presided over a meeting of the Central Committee for Comprehensively Deepening Reform to deliberate and adopt the Plan for the Construction of the Great Wall, the Grand Canal and the Long March National Cultural Park. The Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China emphasized the construction of national cultural parks such as the Great Wall, the Grand Canal, the Long March, and the Yellow River.
"In recent years, the protection and display of Long March cultural relics and the level of dissemination of red culture have been increasing day by day, but the remaining Long March cultural relics are often more serious and less experienced due to the relatively single display means." Bi Yi, head of the "Internet + Long March" project, said that how to use new technologies and new means to enhance the attractiveness of long march cultural relics has become an urgent topic to be solved.
In August this year, the Leading Group for the Construction of the National Cultural Park issued the "Long March National Cultural Park Construction and Protection Plan", integrating the cultural relics and cultural resources of 15 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities along the Long March, and building an overall spatial framework based on the course of the Red Army's Long March and the marching route. Among them, digital reproduction, as one of the "six key projects", emphasizes the full use of digital technology and Internet thinking, and multi-means to comprehensively enhance the display and dissemination effect of cultural relics and cultural resources of the Long March.
Under the support of new technologies, the protection of Long March sites in various places has a new carrier: in the Zunyi Conference Memorial Hall in Guizhou, the digital panoramic exhibition hall can realize the audience to "roam" at home; under the Pagoda Mountain in Yan'an, Shaanxi, the 15,000-square-meter mountain cliff has become a huge screen, using phantom imaging and 3D technology, the historical picture of the Long March of the Central Red Army is slowly unfolding in songs such as "Ode to Yan'an" and "Defending the Yellow River"; at the Gansu Baiyin Huining Red Army Long March Victory Memorial Hall, the "Yunyou" Red Education Base series of activities are in full swing. Millions of netizens "re-walked" the Long March by watching the live broadcast...
Empowered by science and technology, red cultural relics "speak"
The blue sky is dotted with white clouds, the Dadu River is surging and surging, the stones are thundering, and the battle is about to break out.
This is the scene on the mobile phone of Sergeant Cai Wang of the "Mantang Red Artillery Company" of a composite brigade of the 77th Group Army. Only to see his fingers tap, the picture shows the Red Army mortar aimed at the fortifications on the opposite bank, "tom tom" twice, the enemy bunker on the screen flew into the air...
86 years ago, it was also here that Zhao Zhangcheng, the old company commander of the company, turned the tide of battle in 3 shots and 3 shots when the soldiers in the front were blocked.
At the experience point of "Zhao Zhangcheng the Gunner" at the Memorial Hall of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army's Forced Crossing of the Dadu River, tourists opened the "Forced Crossing of the Sky Danger" APP and scanned the site of the Red Army's forced crossing of the Dadu River in front of them, and they could see the scene of the virtual Red Army soldiers crossing the Dadu River. With stunning sound effects, changing lights and three-dimensional moving images, the panoramic display of Zhao Zhangcheng's shelling of the bunker makes visitors immersed.
Experiencing the feats of his ancestors and feeling the mood of being in danger, Cai Wang's mood was surging with emotion: "At that time, the revolutionary ancestors experienced difficulties and obstacles and made miraculous achievements. We must train our weapons and equipment like them, be brave and good at fighting, and dare to win! ”
As an important part of the "Internet + Long March" project, the "Strong Crossing The Sky" APP is an exploration of AR technology in the display application of battlefield sites. The APP is a scene experience application developed for the Ruins of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army's Forced Crossing of the Dadu River, relying on 5G, AR technology and 3D digital content to realize the superposition and reproduction of the site site and the virtual historical scene.
"This provides a new way of thinking about how to improve the intuitiveness and attractiveness of the site's display without rebuilding or disturbing the revolutionary site." Wei Guanglin, head of the telecommunications company involved in the construction of the project, introduced that the APP also contains interactive content based on AR technology, such as "treasure hunting and punching card", "taking photos", "paying tribute to martyrs", etc., allowing tourists to feel the spirit of the Long March in an immersive experience.
The Long March of the Red Army lasted two years, spanning more than ten provinces and driving 25,000 miles. As an important witness to this magnificent epic, rich and diverse Cultural Relics of the Long March are scattered in the vast land of 15 provinces, autonomous regions and cities along the route. In recent years, with the continuous heating up of red tourism, Jiangxi Yudu, Guizhou Liping, Sichuan Gulin, Hunan Daoxian and other Red Army Long March routes have held various forms of "re-walking the Long March" activities. Visitors walked the Red Army trail and listened to the stories of the Long March, and the red education entered the country and entered the mind.
While setting off a red tourism fever along the Long March, it also faces new problems and challenges: most of the existing Long March cultural relics are remote, scattered, and small in a single scale, how to facilitate the staff to do a good job in the protection and management of these Long March cultural relics, and at the same time let tourists more comprehensively and deeply understand the story behind each Long March site?
A "spatio-temporal map" that achieved nearly 10,000 views within a month of launch gives the answer.
Open the WeChat Mini Program "Long March Cultural Relics Map", on the Red Army's Long March route, more than 1600 immovable cultural relics are dotted everywhere. Search for "Forced Crossing of the Wujiang River", in addition to the brief introduction of the event, the page will also display all the important cultural relics associated with it, allowing users to understand the history of the Long March more clearly and comprehensively in the "Space-time Map". It not only realizes the visualization of the geographical location information of the Long March cultural relics, important museums and memorials, as well as convenient classified search, query and positioning, but also associates the Long March cultural relics with major events and representative stories, and presents the great expedition in a way that combines time and space.
"The application also sets up user interaction functions such as 'cultural relics information reporting', as well as a science popularization column related to the protection of long march cultural relics, and is expected to guide more people to participate in the protection and supervision of long march cultural relics." Bi Yi told reporters.
Red pursuit, personally experience the spirit of the Long March
"Warrior Zhang Guicheng."
"To!"
"Warrior Chen Wanqing."
"Second Company Commander Xiong Shanglin."

In the middle of summer, a special roll call ceremony is being held on the banks of the Dadu River in Anshunchang, Asbestos County, Sichuan Province. The teacher read the names of the seventeen warriors who crossed the Dadu River, and the students of Anshunchang Bayi Hope Primary School answered "to" in unison. Behind them was a striking slogan: "We are the blood of the Red Army, we are the descendants of the revolution." ”
"Standing by the Dadu River and participating in the roll call ceremony, I felt that the battle stories and heroic characters in the books were all alive, and I seemed to have entered that period of glory." Student Mao Yibei said with deep feeling.
Retrace the Long March and remember the martyrs in an immersive experience.
In Xinchang Village, Anshun Yi Nationality Township, Shimian County, Sichuan Province, where the study activities started, the students embarked on the journey wearing military uniforms and octagonal hats; at the stop point of Ma'anshan Yakou, the students felt the hardships of the Red Army's rapid march; at the end of the Anshun Field, the students learned about and experienced the heroism of the Red Army in crossing the Dadu River...
These details, which are deeply touched by it, are broadcast simultaneously on multiple media platforms through live broadcasting.
The Red Army's Forced Crossing of the Dadu River Research Course, which the students of Anshunchang Bayi Hope Primary School participated in, fully considered the cognitive basis and interests of primary and secondary school students, integrated the history of the Red Army's Long March into the story of people with things, flesh and blood, and took the "Re-walking the Long March" hiking experience and on-site teaching as the main form, while traveling and talking, while watching and learning.
"We hope to guide students to understand the history of the Long March and improve their independent learning ability in the interaction across time and space." Jia Yue, a staff member who participated in the research project, introduced that they carefully designed the in-depth, vivid and interesting teaching content such as "Little Commander", "Learning Gunner" and "Long March in the New Era", set up interactive links in combination with AR experience points, and let students feel the spirit of the Long March in the process of traveling through hand-drawn maps, knowledge quizzes, weight-bearing competitions, etc.
Not long ago, more than 700 kilometers away from asbestos in Zunyi, Guizhou, a "Long March on the Line" cloud hiking activity was carried out.
Zunyi, Guizhou, used Internet technology to restore the map of the Red Army's Long March throughout Guizhou, showing the 66 counties (cities, districts) selected as the key construction areas of Guizhou in the Long March National Cultural Park. Contestants light up online place names by punching cards offline, and at the same time pop up the historical events of the Red Army's Long March behind the place names. The combination of online and offline activities attracted many participants to return to the homeland of the Long March and relive the glory days.
In addition, Zunyi City has also opened up a number of study and travel boutique routes around the site of the Zunyi Conference, the Red Army Mountain, Loushan Pass, Sidu Chishui and other sites of the Red Army's Long March, and Zunyi has become a popular punch card for red study.
Wen Muhai, political commissar of the Zunyi Military Subdistrict, said that in recent years, Zunyi City has opened up a number of red study routes and carried out various forms of party history study and education. "In the future, the Zunyi Military and Local Government will work together to make good use of red resources, inherit the spirit of the Long March, spread the culture of the Long March, and take the Long March road in the new era."
