In order to expand the construction of the new era civilization practice center and deepen the creation of the new era civilization unit, on October 27, the State Grid Hubei Technology Training Center and the Huanglongtan Power Plant paired up to build the Danjiangkou New Era Civilization Practice Center Joint Meeting was held in our city. Kuang Huixiang, secretary and director of the First Branch of the Propaganda Department of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee, Deng Ping, deputy director of the Second Division, Hong Liang, deputy director of the Party Building Department of the Party Committee of the State Grid Hubei Electric Power Co., Ltd., Wei Bo, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and director of the Propaganda Department, and relevant responsible persons of the State Grid Hubei Technology Training Center and the Huanglongtan Power Plant attended the meeting.

The meeting conveyed and studied General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on the construction of spiritual civilization and the spirit of the document "Notice on Organizing National Civilization Units to Form a New Era Civilization Practice Center" by the Office of the Steering Committee for the Construction of Spiritual Civilization in Hubei Province; representatives of the State Grid Hubei Technical Training Center and the State Grid Hubei Huanglongtan Power Plant signed a twinning agreement with the representatives of the New Era Civilization Practice Center in our city; the member units of the joint meeting reported on the progress of work this year and the next step of the work plan. He also put forward opinions and suggestions on further doing a good job in the practice of civilization in the new era.

Kuang Huixiang pointed out that it is necessary to build up the work system, activity positions, and institutional mechanisms to create brands and highlights with the characteristics of our city; it is necessary to organize volunteer service activities, do a good job in guidance and training, and let volunteers really move and the platform become active; it is necessary to strictly implement the ideological responsibility system, and the volunteer service team should be managed by all relevant units according to its service functions, earnestly perform the duty of taking a good direction and managing the orientation, and strictly abide by the party's political discipline and political rules.

After the meeting, the members of the joint meeting also visited the Zhangjiaying Community New Era Civilization Practice Station and put forward opinions and suggestions on the future development.
