Therefore, Yao Cang left his eldest son Yao Xing to guard the north, and let the Ningbei general Yao Mu guard Tongguanchuan, and personally led his troops to attack Xinping.

Xinping is an important town in Yongzhou, and once Xinping is occupied, it can be directly down the Jing River to Chang'an.

At first, the Xinping people killed the generals of the county, and Jian Jian removed a corner of their city wall as a punishment, and The xianjun Haojie of Xinping was deeply ashamed and wanted to establish a loyal snow shame.

After Yao Cang arrived in Xinping, Taishou Goufu wanted to surrender, and the people of liaoxi taishou Feng Jie, Lian Spoon Ling Feng Yu, Shang Shulang Zhao Yi, and Wenshan Taishou Feng Miao advised: "In the past, Tian Dan saved the state of Qi with the strength of one city. Under the leadership of Gou Fu, the Xinping army and civilians held around the city, making the Later Qin army suffer a lot. Gou Fu believed him and led five thousand people out of the city. At this time, Yao Cang repented and buried them all alive, both men and women, and only Feng Jie's son Feng Jie finally fled to Chang'an.

In this matter, Yao Cang did a very unauthentic, lost his identity, and was difficult to call Haojie.

Grateful for the loyalty of the Xinping people, Jian Jian posthumously awarded Gou Fu and other official positions, all of whom were honored as the Marquis of Jie, and Feng Finally as the Taishou of Xinping. But there was no point in doing so except to comfort the dead.
