Di Dao is Lintao, Lintao is Di Dao!
From September 1982 to June 1985, I studied at Lintao Normal School for three years and read books for three years.
Over the years, the unit also often issued various forms to fill in the academic qualifications, and generally the highest degree filled in is "university", so that it seems that people are a bit lined up. If you don't look carefully or if some forms are not filled in carefully, others must think that I am really studying for a bachelor's degree, in fact, it is a diploma obtained by correspondence at the party school level, and it cannot be taken too seriously. The effect of going to this kind of adult school in improving the real level of education of individuals is limited, and the quality is much worse than that of the ordinary national education system schools. In this life, my initial education was actually "Middle Division", which I spent three years studying at Lintao Normal School.
(1) Going to Lintao to study teacher training is purely an accident
In May 1982, huining no. 1 middle school I was studying in was officially entering the middle school entrance examination season of that year. In that era, due to the junior high school graduation examination of small secondary school, the proportion of admission was too low, generally a county is a few people, plus the middle school, a year can be admitted to the small secondary school in a county thousands of candidates, that is, more than a hundred people, so the fierce degree of competition in that exam is still relatively terrible. I remember that in 1982, the primary and secondary school entrance examination was wrapped up in the high school admissions examination, but everyone filled in the middle school entrance examination volunteers were somewhat different. Fortunately, in that year's middle school entrance examination, with some good luck, good mentality, good performance, plus God's blessing, I finally bumped into the big luck and was admitted to the teacher's training.
In fact, when filling in the volunteer before the exam, there are two options on the table: secondary school and middle school teacher. There were three schools enrolling students in Huining that year, one was Xi'an Electronic School, the other was Shaanxi Traffic School, and the third could not be remembered. I remember that at that time, we climbed together on the cement platform in the courtyard of the county cultural and educational bureau to fill in the volunteer, and there was a classmate from Huining Beixiang, and finally he was not admitted to the secondary school, he went to the high school of Huining No. 1 Middle School to continue to study in high school, and later went to lanzhou university. When filling in the secondary school volunteer, taking into account that they are not at the top level of the whole level in their daily lives, the analysis of normal is not possible, so the names of the three secondary schools on the volunteer form are only copied once, and it does not matter whether it is good or bad. I only remember putting the traffic school in the first place, and there is still a little bit of delusion in my heart that cannot be said with people, thinking that I really have a chance in the future, and it is good to drive a car, which is also the reason why I was really poor when I was a child. Watching people drive a car to run Jingyuan, they can steal a little coal from the Jingyuan coal mine to their families when it is convenient, or they can bring a cylinder, bowl, jar, etc. from the Jingyuan Ceramics Factory, or they can bring a little vegetables or other food and drink by the way. As long as it is a family with a driver at home, the life is generally much better than that of our ordinary people, at least it will not be hungry. But really in life after these decades, I have a little more objective understanding of my own roots, like me such a character and temperament of people are actually not suitable for driving a car, the brain thinks a lot, but the decision-making is slow, the hands and feet are slow to react, the hands and brains are not coordinated, so driving is not safe.
I remember that there were also three middle schools that could apply for the examination that year, namely Longxi Normal School, Jingyuan Normal School and Lintao Normal School. These three teachers do not matter whether they are high or low in level, everyone is at the same level, they are all under the jurisdiction of the original Dingxi district, but the county where the school is located is different. When filling in the volunteer of the middle division, it is very cautious, thinking about it again and again, I don't know which one to put first? The suggestion given by Beixiang classmates was that he heard others say that there is a river called TaoHe in Lintao, and the water in the Tao River is very large! I immediately felt that there is a big river in Lintao, and the scenery is naturally good, which is incomparable to the hometown place where it is usually difficult to eat cellar water. I remember that in 1979, 1980 and 1981, the Longzhong region represented by Huining suffered a three-year drought, and people and livestock had great difficulties in drinking water, which is recorded in the county chronicle. We often waited in line at the nearby well in the middle of the night to wait for water and carry water, and we suffered a lot of difficulties, and the water became a bigger thing than the sky in our heads. With this in mind, Lintao Normal School was filled in as the first place in the middle school admission volunteers, followed by Longxi Normal School, and the third was Jingyuan Normal School. Jingyuan ranked last because it was really too close to his hometown, thinking that he had some ability or could go to a place far away from home to read a book and broaden his horizons, as if only in this way could he live up to this life. In the end, as I wished, I was picked up by the General Teacher Class of Lintao Normal School.
However, at that time, the first choice of the vast majority of candidates in Huining was Jingyuan Normal School, because Jingyuan County was close to Huining, and it was convenient to go to school by car and cost less. Later, it was also clear that the Yellow River was on the edge of Jingyuan Normal School, and the water of the Yellow River was actually much larger than the water in the Tao River; next to Longxi Normal School, there was also a Wei River whose flow was not too small in those years! But in the end, I finally chose Lintao Normal School, and it was only the difference between my thoughts in the head of that day and that moment! When also? Fate also?
In fact, there is another reason, during the Great Leap Forward in 1958, Gansu Province carried out the Diversion Project, and the five brothers of Zhuangli Nanzhuang, Zhenfang, Yongzhen, Shufang, Zhongren, as part of the 100,000-year army of migrant workers, all went to minxian County, Weiyuan, and Lintao to work as coolies at the diversion construction sites in the area of Min county, Weiyuan, and Lintao, and spent three years in tao, almost nine deaths. I have heard them talk about the introduction of Tao many times, so in my mind there is a little more good imagination of the Tao River, so when I filled in the middle school examination volunteer this time, I filled in the Lintao Teacher's Teacher in front, in the end, it is because I heard that there is a river and water in the river in Lintao, and there are grass and trees on the mountain.
In those two years, there was a popular song in the society called "Story of a Small Town", which had lyrics saying that "there are many stories in small towns, full of joy and happiness, if you come to small towns, there is a lot of joy." For many years, Lintao may have played the role of the "small town" that I subconsciously did not think about and remembered.
(2) In those years, the water of the Tao River was still very large
The climate of Lintao is indeed very different from that of the small zhuangkou of the old hometown of Huining Yuan'an fork, with a lot of rain, abundant products and a good climate. The factor that affected things the most when I applied for volunteering was the Tao River, so when I went to Lintao, the first thing I went to see was also the Tao River.
In the autumn of 1982, not long after going to normal school, heavy rainstorm fell on the boundary between Huangnan in Qinghai and Gannan in Gansu in the upper reaches of the Tao River. One Saturday afternoon, I heard that the Tao River was flooding, and the low-lying area of the abandoned airport west of the city was flooded by the water that flooded the Tao River. A group of our classmates from other counties met and ran to the levee of the Tao River to see the Tao River. That evening, when Hong Feng crossed the Lintao Realm, when we went to the river, in some places the flood had already flooded the river embankment, standing on the Tao River Bridge leading to Xiping, Wolong, and Linxia Recreation, holding the railing, looking in the direction of the water to the south, people were dizzy, and the whole bridge was like a boat going up against the current. The flood began to flood the piers of the main span, and the trembling of the bridge deck could be clearly felt standing on the bridge. The rescue and disaster relief forces organized by the government have all gone up the levee, and a bunch of foreigners who have never seen the flood of the big river are still sneaking up and down the river embankment and the bridge to see the scenery and don't know how to hide, and later I understand that it is called the ignorant are fearless!
In the second half of the first semester of the first year, the first "May Day" festival after attending the teacher training, the weather was sunny. It was hard to meet the opportunity to take a three-day vacation, and a few students in the class who knew a little water made an appointment and went down to the "Erjia Beach" on the tao river. At that time, Erjia Beach was five or six miles away from the city, surrounded by small trees, very secluded, a beach from the Tao River split a bay of still water, everyone went there to learn to swim.
In fact, at that time, the swimming skills of my classmates did not dare to compliment, and the only little bit of water playing was learned when they were young in the canal that was irrigated in the land of their rural hometown; some were learned together with the cattle and sheep drinking water in the waterlogged dam in front of their own house in the township. Everyone has never had the ability to play in the water in the big river, and this tour does not matter, it completely throws the life of a classmate who lives in the same dormitory in the Tao River. Later, I inquired clearly, the water in the bay in the Erjia beach, the face is very quiet, but the face is very urgent, the bottom of the water is full of tree roots and mud, do not know the water of the Tao River foreigners learn to swim here, fixed is to encounter great danger. But by the time we finally understand this, everything is irretrievable. This lesson also accompanied us for three years, and for this matter, most of us did not learn to swim when we finally left the teacher and left Lintao. This is a memory and a price that everyone once threw in the Tao River when they were young.
In fact, the water of the Tao River is still very mild on weekdays. The Tao River originates in the Xiqian Mountains of Qinghai and flows through several counties in Gannan, Linxia and Dingxi, but only Lintao is rich. Because the upstream is mostly pastoral areas, some are high cold and wet areas, many places are more mountains and less land, not much water shortage, only Lintao here is close to the lower reaches of the Tao River, both sides of the alluvial area of a large flattened Sichuan terrace, the soil layer is thick and low, so it has historically developed into an artesian irrigation agricultural area, so that Lintao County Governor has been "rich in Longzhong" since the time of the governor of Lintao County.
In the three years of Lintao, the most special and special scenery was the "Tao River Raft" and "Tao Shui Liu Zhu". "Taohe rafting" is a kind of spectacle that can only be "occasionally seen" in a year, and it is necessary to wait for the wood cut down in the forest areas of Zhuoni, Lintan, Minxian and other places located upstream to save enough wood before the local forest farm will arrange rafting. The upper reaches of the Tao River were once famous primitive forest areas in the upper reaches of the Yellow River, where the wood harvested every year, in addition to a large number of transfers by land, used the Tao River to release rafts, wave by wave, and banished to the downstream Lintao, Linxia, Lanzhou and other places, which was the most time-saving and cost-saving mode of transportation in history. Whenever the sun rises or the sun sets, a raft floating down from the upstream forest area, due to the combing of the rapids of the river, is neatly arranged and flows with the waves, becoming a rare wonder of the Tao River at that time. To this day, there is a small place in the west of Lintao City called "Muchang Village", that is, because of the developed water transportation of the Tao River in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, it was once named because of the gathering of merchants who distributed firewood from all over the world. However, these spectacular scenery has not been seen since all the forest areas of the Taohe Forestry Bureau, which is located in the Tibetan area of Gannan, have been closed to the mountains and logged down and mined.
On the Tao River, there is another thing that has been lost and can no longer be seen, that is, the wonder of the "Tao River Pearl". In the past, when the Tao River flowed through the Jiudian Gorge located in the middle reaches of the Weiyuan and Zhuoni counties at the junction of the two counties, due to the steep narrowing of the riverbed, the altitude of the canyon was very serious, so the river water stirred on both sides of the Shixia, and the splashing waves were frozen into one grain of ice beads in the air of the nine cold days. The Qing Dynasty poet Chen Zhongxiu once had a poem cloud, "Wan Hu Pearl surges in the waves, and the crystals rush to the east of the water; pearls are difficult to enter the eyes of the layman, thrown to the Hongbo and dare not collect", from the direction, the "water east flow" in this poem may be more appropriate to change to "water north flow". It was only the spectacle of the "Tao River Pearl" that eventually disappeared with the implementation of the diversion project and the storage of water in the Jiudianxia Reservoir, and became a legend on the Tao River.
In this way, our stubble of teacher training students was still very blessed, and we had the privilege of witnessing the end of an era on the Tao River.
(iii) About our school
In 1982, Lintao Normal School was located next door to the present-day Lintao No. 1 Middle School, with two small open spaces in between. The gate of the teacher's school sits north to south, and after entering the gate is a long cement hardened corridor, on both sides of the corridor are four rows of bungalow classrooms and teachers' offices, laboratories, libraries, etc., the last row of which is also the end of the yongdao, and the houses on both sides are not separated by the yongdao, they are connected. This teaching area is actually a depression, the lowest place in the whole school. In addition to the second row on the right side of the corridor for school offices, the other three rows have four classrooms in each row, so that there are a total of twelve classrooms, which can accommodate all the students in our three grades under the school system at that time. In the autumn of 1981, the enrollment system of secondary normal schools has been reformed nationwide, from the previous high school enrollment to the enrollment of fresh junior high schools, and the school system has been changed from two years to three years, and we have become the second batch of students admitted to teacher training in junior high schools in history. In this way, the total number of students in Lintao Normal School at that time should be about 700 people in the third level.
Climbing up to the secondary terrace further south of the teaching area is our dormitory and living area. The great stove, the auditorium, the faculty and student dormitories are all here. There are three rows of dormitories, the last two rows are for boys, and the first excludes one or two male dormitories, which are mainly female dormitories and some faculty dormitories. In the middle of the two rows of dormitories, in addition to retaining the three-step width of our traffic, the sidewalk paved with gravel slag and the slightly coarse clothes rack made of wire and wooden stakes, there is also a vegetable garden three or five steps wide in front of each dormitory, but in those years, the vegetables did not seem to have been planted much, and this garden is the place where we pour sewage on weekdays, and it remains muddy all year round. Each student dormitory is a large studio like a classroom, with two rows of bunks, which can accommodate about twenty-three or four people.
The school's playground area is located behind the teaching area and living area, that is, the northernmost secondary terrace of the campus, the playground is relatively small, but the layout of a three-hundred-meter runway, the runway is paved with black slag, although the morning students go to the morning exercise when the dust is flying, the movement is relatively large, but the ground elasticity is still good, not easy to hurt the foot, relatively safe. On the west and north edges of the playground, a single dormitory for teachers was built, and in fact, many teachers also lived there. Whenever we went to morning exercises, the more diligent teachers also accompanied us to run and exercise, and the lazy teachers may still be sleeping at that time.
(4) About our classmates
In 1982, the country had just begun to reform and open up, the college entrance examination system was only four years old, and a large number of rural primary and secondary schools lacked qualified teachers who had undergone professional teacher education, and the entire rural teacher team was in a difficult stage of not being able to connect. In 1981, the state issued a policy to reform the enrollment system of secondary normal schools in order to respond to the emergency. After all, we are the teacher training students who should take the second junior high school examination, and we should also say that we are the earliest beneficiaries of this reform policy, but in the process of changing the academic system, the management of student status in the whole society was still chaotic. At that time, there were more than fifty people enrolled in our class, and only one month after the start of the school, there was one classmate each from the Jingyuan Mining Area and Lintao, who was disqualified from admission because of the complaint from their hometown, saying that they were high school graduates who took the middle school entrance examination. In fact, in the past few terms before and after us, such a situation could not be investigated, but the people would not be prosecuted if they did not raise an example. It was not until a few years after graduation that everyone slowly understood that between students of the same level, there would be a difference of several years in age. This situation is a special phenomenon that has prevailed in all kinds of colleges and secondary schools at all levels in the country for a period of time after the college entrance examination system was restored at the end of 1977, and it is sometimes feasible for a classmate to call the old uncle in the actual age.
The more than fifty people in our class came from the poor countryside and remote areas of the seven counties of Dingxi, Tongwei, Longxi, Weiyuan, Lintao, Huining, and Jingyuan under the jurisdiction of the Dingxi district of Gansu Province at that time, and there were very few students in the city, it can be said that the main male is poor, the female is mainly ugly, and the appearance is generally not good, but the spirit of hard work is still good. After three years, everyone's academic skills are very good. After graduating, most of our classmates have become the mainstay of their respective schools in the past three or five years, and have effectively created a new situation in the teaching of primary schools and even a certain mountain middle school in their hometowns, and belong to a generation of teachers who have "opened up a new situation and created new opportunities" and have laid the foundation for inheriting the past and opening up the future. However, after more than thirty years of passing, they are now all dying of old age, all of them are full of vicissitudes waiting for retirement. Among them, there are a small number of classmates who have died prematurely in their prime, and there is no trace to be found!
(e) About our courses
The curriculum of teacher training is very numerous and complex, and the principle of curriculum setting is that according to the fact that there is only one teacher in a rural primary school, if all the courses of "morality, intellectual, physical and aesthetic work" are to be opened, what classes need to be attended? What will you be able to do? Normal schools will have these courses accordingly, plus pedagogy and psychology, that is to say, when a teacher, in addition to teaching, but also appropriate to guess the mind of the doll, so as to achieve teaching and learning targeted. Therefore, it is not easy to be a rural primary school teacher with a scientific background. Like a writing class, there are three kinds of hard pen words, chalk words, and brush words, the school does not require good writing, but at least to write each word horizontally and vertically, neat and standardized; music you may be a person with incomplete five tones, but into this door, then the simple score must be at least known, the stave should be learned, keyboard instruments, blowing, playing and singing You must also strive for the same two things; after the language class enters the teacher training, you have to learn from writing articles without writing typos, speaking and making sentences without problems, so that you can be a teacher, otherwise after leaving the school door, This person may also mislead people's children. Therefore, in the curriculum of normal schools, the difficulty design is generally lower than that of high schools, and the width design is much higher than that of high schools and other professional schools, which belongs to a flat style, which is unique in the academic education curriculum settings in China. This kind of curriculum design is actually very capable of honing people's basic academic skills. After thirty or forty years, among the teacher training students before and after us, the personal composition is generally a teacher, and there are also those who have entered the Sino-AMERICAN Association, some have entered the Chinese Book Association, and some have mixed into the Writers' Association at all levels; there are also those who have the ability to run to the street to open galleries, and there are also those who have gone to the back streets and alleys of society to open various kinds of musical instrument training classes to "coax" other people's children to earn a living; there are also many cadres who have changed careers, including Beijing officials, prefecture officials, and county officials. Of course, the most and the best mix should still belong to the "township master" at the level of the township mayor. After several decades of great waves and sands, the employment and work pattern of "a hundred flowers blooming and a hundred schools of thought contending" among the graduates of the middle school division in those years also confirmed from one side that in the first half of the 1980s, the basic qualities of this large number of rural students who moved from junior high school to middle school division due to the difficulties of family life were outstanding!
During those three years, the most difficult things I learned were music and sports. Music is mainly not good for the voice, the simple score is hard to learn, the stave to take the method of rote memorization is also to cope with the exam again and again, only singing, every time it seems to be able to kill people. Our voice is left, the high note in a song is always singing, struggling to sing will definitely go out of tune, so in order not to lose people, singing never dare to be loud, touch the high note, most occasions are lowered an octave to hum out. The teacher also knows the foundation of each of our students, and it will not be too difficult for "low-energy students" like us during the exam, singing badly, but the final score will be drawn. There is also sports, mainly physical fitness, 1500 meters of long-distance running standards can break the gas; single and horizontal bar on the action, due to fear of heights plus two arms less strength, the second time can not be completed, and finally this equipment class of physical education class is about to come out of the phobia. The second exam is all expected to be able to open a squint to give a pass, and the final result is often such a result. In the three years of teacher training, I also learned little by little from the music and physical education teachers who took our classes how to be a teacher, and more importantly, how to be lenient and strict, and how to treat people with leniency!
(vi) Speak to our teachers
Because the teacher training courses are so complicated and numerous, there are more teachers who give us classes every semester, and there are more exams and more trouble.
In the past three years, the Chinese teachers who have brought us lessons include Wang Shujun and Liang Yingshou; teachers Chen Mingyong and Yang Yingqi in mathematics; Jing Ridong in physics; Li Zuoji in politics; Meng Cai in writing; Sun Xiaomei in chemistry; Zhang Menglan and Lei Juan in music; Ma Jihan, Li Shi, and Li Ruiping in physical education; Sun Yimin in geography; Yang Mingzhe in history; Zhang Yaping and Qingzhong in fine arts; teachers in education who can't remember clearly; psychology with Teacher Ma Yongxiang; teacher Miao Yuqing in electrochemical teaching. In Mandarin, there are teacher Cui Wei and so on, our class teacher is Meng Cai, and our principal at that time is Fang Yinghua!
It has been exactly thirty-five years since I left Lintao Normal School. In 2004, most of the country's secondary normal schools were abolished after they basically completed their historical mission of "laying the foundation for the long term" in the course of China's reform and opening up, especially in opening up and laying a new situation in china's rural compulsory education. The ultimate fate of our alma mater, Lintao Normal School, was also withdrawn after more than a hundred years of ups and downs in the establishment of the school, and the campus land was transferred to Lintao No. 1 Middle School at one time, and most of the teachers who had taken classes for us retired after their age expired. After that, a small number of young teachers who entered the school were adjusted to the Dingxi Institute of Education, and the vast majority of them were transferred to the management and use of Lintao County' territorial territories, and in the end, the end of these teachers was scattered, running to the east and west, which was exactly in response to the sentence, "If the skin does not exist, Mao will be attached." ”
Now I still miss the group of amiable and respectable teachers who taught us a little bit of the ability to live in the first half of the 1980s when the life of the whole society was still very difficult, are you all still okay?
(7) Once walked all over the streets and alleys of Lintao
Lintao for three years, in fact, we are mainly mixed in the area of Taoyang Town, where Lintao City is located. For the whole of Lintao, because one is that there is no money to buy a ticket on weekdays, it is impossible to go too far; the other is the lack of knowledge and courage to "read a hundred and ten books and travel thousands of miles", so it is rare to go out of Lintao City to explore the culture that belongs to Lintao's distant hometown. Although it has been three years of reading, Lintao County, which has a population of nearly half a million people, is still not clear, and lacks a grasp of the overall situation, in fact, this is very negative for eating and drinking in Lintao's three years of good times.
At that time, there was no Saturday break, and only one day off was available on Sundays every week. The whereabouts of this day are either in the streets and alleys of the city, or the farthest is a half-day walk out of the city for a half-day country trip, and then far away at night, I am afraid that I will starve if I can't go back to the school to eat on the stove. Therefore, in three years, a lot of time on Sundays seems to be spent on Lintao City and its surroundings, and at the same time, it has experienced various "firsts" after entering the society:
The first time in this half-life he "encountered a thief and stole" was at the Xinhua Bookstore in Lintao. That afternoon, he was crouching in front of the counter of the bookstore to select books, when he was poor, and his waist was a piece and a half of coiled, and when the books were selected until he straightened up and touched the money in his pocket, he found that the money had already let the thief next to him go away, and the evil thing was that the salesman had already turned to the side of the counter to take care of him.
The first time I "heard and heard about books" was at the Cultural Center in Lintao County. This cultural center is next door to the prefectural no. 1 Middle School next to the teacher's training. That afternoon, I followed a local classmate into the library for the first time to find the feeling of listening to books. The room where the storyteller is located is at the head of the right hand side of the entrance door, and when I enter, there are already many people listening to the book, but there are not many students among them, and all the listeners are older. It may be that the half-black environment is conducive to storytelling, so the light in that room is hazy and smokey, and a half-old "storyteller" takes a fan, and there is a piece of shocking wood on the table in front of him, a teacup, sitting on the stage with a high and low voice, and I did not hear which book he was talking about that day? But in short, I didn't like that kind of atmosphere and retreated.
The first time I "touched an egg" was on the big shi character of Lintao that year. At that time, there were no buildings in Lintao City, and the Dashi characters were still unconventional, like a circle, and the post offices and shops on the four corners were built on the recessed arc, so the Dashi characters were built very beautiful and generous, better than the Dashi characters that had been built in Huining and Dingxi at the same time. Running to the boiled eggs of the big Shizi people's homes happened in the second half of the second grade, when the book was half read, the surrounding environment was also cooked, and the courage of the people was also greater, the key is that every semester on hand, you can still accumulate a little of the food stamps and money saved on the stove, which can be used to run to the door of the store in the northeast corner of the big Shizi, pick up a hard boiled egg in the hands of the person who carries the basket to change the eggs, and touches the egg in the hands of others, if you break it first, Then you have to pay for food stamps or money to buy or exchange for this broken egg; if you don't break it, you can take a broken egg for free. In fact, doing this kind of work that is not doing the right thing, touching eggs by luck, a semester of doing it yourself may also be that time, accompanying other students to do it may also be several times, not for anything else just for a hilarious! Later, after leaving Lintao to make a living in Dingxi, I once occasionally encountered this kind of "deed" again at the Jinjiyuan mountain temple fair in Guanying Town, Anding District, which was very familiar, but it could only be a smile!
The first time I was "difficult to speak Mandarin" was at the Lintao East Street Department Store that year. That time I went to the store to buy a pair of shorts to wear inside. After finding the counter, we used the vernacular language to communicate, saying that we took a pair of "pants", the salesman who sold the goods was a local, people only called this thing "pants", Mandarin also seems to be called "pants", we just said the opposite, on the spot let a group of salesmen standing inside the counter laughed a lot, and finally with chagrin, they quickly fled back to school. In fact, until now, I still haven't made the "pants" and "pants" thing very clear.
The first "glasses" was also in a state-run optical shop on Lintao East Street. A clerk took a stick and pointed at the eye chart, he gave me a 250-degree myopia mirror, although this number did not feel good, but put on the mirror to try to look at the eye chart again, found that it was really bright, and there was no clear word, so I happily took the mirror back to school. In fact, that time with the mirror is to make the degree bigger, the first week of wearing glasses, the time is slightly longer and dizzy, which is a typical phenomenon that the eyes are not suitable for the appearance after the mirror degree is high. It can be said that it was a relatively failed experience with a mirror.
The first time I "saw the plane" was also in Lintao. There used to be an airfield for troops on the surface of Yujing in Lintao Nanxiang. Knowing this good news, one Sunday in the first semester of normal school, a group of us couldn't wait to find a way to run a yujing and sneak around the airport. Finally, he sat on a hill after the autumn harvest in his hometown and watched the take-off and landing during the half-day aircraft training. It was the first time I'd seen the plane close, so I was excited about it for a long time. In fact, when I really left Lintao and worked for a few years, in a certain year or two, I used to fly to catch business and almost became a profession. One of them was a flight from Lanzhou Zhongchuan to Qingdao via Taiyuan, which was operated by a small plane that could carry dozens of people. After the plane constantly encounters the air current, the bumps and noise are comparable to the situation of sitting on the rural "three yards" running the washboard road. Since then, taking a plane is actually a very unsure feeling in my heart, and if time permits, I can take the train and not take the plane.
The first time I "took the train" was also on the way to the teacher's training. In the first semester after going to normal school, the school let you fill in the contents of the "student card", the last page of which is the route by train, which is where the state has a preferential policy of half tickets for college and secondary school students. We have never seen a train in the past and have not sat on a train, and after thinking about it for half a day, we filled in a "Jingyuan to Lanzhou". In fact, there are three ways to go to school, one is to take a shuttle bus from home to Dingxi and then to Lintao. The second is to take a shuttle bus from home to Lanzhou and then to Lintao. The third is to take a shuttle bus from home to Jingyuan, then take a train from Jingyuan to Lanzhou, and then take a shuttle bus from Lanzhou to Lintao. The first of the three lines is the most economical, the third is the farthest and most verbose, but there are trains to take. Just in order to open this foreign meat and enjoy this discount, when the second semester of the first grade began, I ran a special trip to Jingyuan, took a train, spent more money, and ran farther, but finally on the student card, let the railway ticket window poke a half-price chapter, and there was only a little bit of a row when discussing this matter among the students. After reflection, people's thinking in this life to be truly mature, in fact, is a very difficult process, in the face of all kinds of deception, many things are personally experienced once, only to know that such "contrivance" is meaningless, just like that time to run Jingyuan to take the train, both costly and time-consuming.
Teachers also taught us to learn to live
The first time I learned to do needlework "sewing quilts" was also in teacher training. Nowadays, most of the children who are admitted to college only bring their wallets and no luggage, and the bedding is spent on the unified configuration after going to school. But when we first went to normal school, we still had to carry the bedding from home, and the school only provided everyone with a bed board on the chase. At the end of a semester, everyone's quilts are completely dirty and can't be seen, so everyone in the school has to learn to remove and wash the quilts, whether boys or girls. After being washed and dried, you have to learn to sew the quilt, at that time sewing the quilt you do not do this kind of rough work you will help you do, there is no reason to have money, age does not become a reason, but after three years of real hammer training in teacher training, after the basic skills of needlework, it can be used for life. In fact, this kind of work, only the first time to feel a little difficult, do twice, it will be practice can make skill. Some people say that the good cooks in this world are generally men, but in fact, most of the good tailors in this world are also men.
In the three years of Lintao, the only thing that most of my classmates and I did not learn much was to cook. For more than a year, the quality of the food on the school stove was indeed OK, and the standard of living was better than that of home. But by the end of the second grade, everyone's mouth began to pick, and they were more and more dissatisfied with the food level on the stove, and every three or five times they began to call friends to the streets and alleys of Lintao, looking for those "chicken feather shops" that were economically affordable to sell fried noodles and braised noodles for improvement. A few local students who were close to home also sneaked the kerosene stove they had used into the school, and every day at noon and night in the dormitory, they learned to pull strips, pull noodles, and make their own meals, so that the school's food subsidies could save a little more than those of us who went to the stove every semester. The result of such training is that these students are far superior to our group of people who have not cooked in life after they go to society in the future, especially after they have become a family.
(9) Lintao people once called teacher training students "sour acid"
Lintao is actually a place with a very deep cultural heritage, and is a famous "cultural county" in Longshang. At the end of the Warring States period, in the year of Qin Xian's reign (384 BC), Qin destroyed the Xirong tribe "Di" and established Didao County, which was the beginning of the establishment of Lintao County. Lintao is the place and place where The Chinese "Majiayao Culture", "Xindian Culture" and "Siwa Culture" were first discovered and named, and the Warring States Qin Great Wall also began in Lintao. There is a Jiaoshan Street next to the teacher's training, which is an alley named to commemorate Yang Jiaoshan, a famous minister who fought with the powerful minister Yan Artemisia in the Ming Dynasty and lost power. After Yang Jiaoshan was demoted to Lintao, he opened the Jiaoshan Academy on the East Mountain of Lintao, which was the first in the Longyou area. Because of such a good educational foundation, Lintao's cultural heritage has always been better than that of the surrounding counties, which is also a place that locals are very proud of. But it is such a very cultural and traditional place, even if the average quality of the county's population should be higher than the surrounding place, their locals were dead but looked down on the students who read the teacher's training, calling us "sour", ugly, do not know what it means, let alone what the reason is? Is it because of the difficulties of teacher-training students? In fact, at that time, the life of the people in Lintao City was not very rich, and the reason why they did not look up to the teacher training students was unknown. Later, we dealt with people who were teachers more, and it seemed that we slowly realized a little, people have been in this teacher's line for a long time, he has more contact with children, less contact with adults in society, understanding problems are sometimes easy to be small, relatively narrow, coupled with low income levels, and often behave trembling and shrinking when dealing with the three religions and nine streams in society, is it not that discriminatory title is caused by this reason?
However, the final unexpected result is that just a dozen years after the reform of the secondary school teacher enrollment system, the students who have graduated from Lintao Normal School have spread all over the various levels of government schools in Lintao's urban and rural areas, and the vast majority of Lintao locals have worked hard and made their fortunes under the leadership of a group of students who have graduated from normal schools that they once looked down on the most, because their township mayors are the teacher training students of that year; or they themselves. Or maybe their next generation has had a period of enlightenment education for students who have graduated from teacher training. Therefore, it can be said that since Lintao had this normal school, the local people still took advantage of the situation more and suffered less losses, at least in a not too short historical period, through teacher education, a large number of local people have timely solved the big problem of a large number of local people receiving academic qualifications nearby and achieving employment within the system.
Now, under the tide of reform, Lintao Normal has completed its historical mission and disappeared in the rolling tide of social development, and the word "sour" seems to have quietly disappeared from the daily spoken language of ordinary Lintao people.
(10) Had been a teacher in Lintao for a month
After the start of the spring of 1985, we entered the internship period. The school I interned at was West Street Elementary School in Lintao, which is still alive today. In order to teach this lesson well, I almost turned over the materials related to Taiwan in the teacher's library reading room, and the lesson was solidly prepared, but on the day of the lecture, when I saw the teachers and leaders sitting on the back wall, my legs trembled, and my heart was weak. Other problems are not much, that is, as soon as you get on the podium, the speed of speech is much faster, and the new lesson that was originally designed to be completed in forty minutes was not realized that twenty minutes was almost the same. When I went to the podium, the watch was placed in front of the podium in advance, and when I saw that there was a gap of nearly ten minutes in the time, I was scared that my hair was almost erect, because this was not something that could be casually ended in advance by gossip on the street, so while hurrying to find a way to slow down the words, I asked two more dolls, and then I added what I knew when I was reading in the library and this course, but some of the contents that had a big relationship with Taiwan were far-fetched, and the key was to find a new topic that could be nonsense This point of time that has come to the end is finally occupied more reasonably.
This lesson has also influenced what happened to me for decades after I worked. In the past few years, I was often invited to give lectures at various training classes at the Party School of the Municipal Party Committee, and after getting the topics, I prepared this kind of adult class, and my main experience was to "prepare topics", which was divided into three or five sections, and under each plate was as many parallel topics as possible. When there is enough time to talk more, and when time is tight, it will never affect the overall feeling of the comrades under the stage listening to the lectures, and practice has proved that this is a way that cannot be better in adult teaching. This is the lesson I learned from the lesson of near-failure in a nature class during my internship in the fourth grade of Lintao West Primary School.
During this internship, I also served as a class teacher. There are two things that should be mentioned, one is a language quiz during the internship, when the invigilator walked in the middle aisle, I found that there were several multiple choice questions on the test paper of a little girl who were wrong, at first I was more insistent on the principle, but this principle only insisted for twenty minutes, or decided to give this doll a proper finger, so when I once again inspected the little girl doll's desk, I quietly pointed at the question she chose wrong. This doll's reaction is also clever, and immediately corrected this problem, and corrected several other questions that were wrongly chosen.
The second thing was that there was a little boy in the class who lived in Xiao south Street who was very mischievous, and one afternoon when he was in line after school, he jumped out of the queue and jumped in for a minute and couldn't idle, squeezing the front, squeezing the back, and couldn't listen, so I knocked on the back of his head with a book backbone. Its practical power is not great, but this baby feels that I beat him in front of many classmates and peeled his skin, so she is very angry, while following the team to the outside of the school, while squinting at me again and again, this time we both seem to have formed a deep hatred that cannot be solved in this life. But coincidentally, during the extracurricular activities on the second afternoon, the child was mischievous again, and there was a very thick manhole cover made of cement with a diameter of nearly one meter next to the classroom, and his energy was too exuberant, and he had nothing to do, so he squatted next to the well and moved the manhole cover vigorously. But this lid was so heavy that it just lifted a little slit and fell down to break the finger of his left hand, and the blood dripped. I quickly ran and brought him a basin of cold water to rinse him, and when the blood was gone, I bandaged his broken fingers with one of my novice handkerchiefs. That evening, he went home with this broken finger. When he came to school the next morning, the child took out of his pocket the side that had been washed clean by the parents, and the folded square handkerchief was returned to me. I also found that the child could no longer see a little bit of hatred and hatred in the eyes that looked at me.
At the end of a month-long tight internship, when I finally left "West Elementary School", I only received two souvenirs from the primary school students in my class, two brand-new notebooks with parents on the leaf to help write a word of thanks or wish me a great future. And these two notebooks are the same girl I mentioned above that I reminded of the wrong question during the quiz exam, and the boy I once took the book and knocked it on his head once because of the disobedience in line. In the month of my month of giving them classes and being the class teacher, I often praised them and rarely criticized them, but they all seemed to be completely indifferent to me as a temporary intern teacher, and they had no concept of good or bad, let alone the meaning of sending me a souvenir. Of course, I am not coveting these children's gadgets, but I have been thinking about a slightly heavy question, and in my interaction with this group of children, did I also reflect some shortcomings hidden deep in our human nature?
(11) Thank you for the three years of Lintao
Lintao's three years were a very important experience in my life, and it was also this experience that fundamentally shaped and changed my entire worldview and outlook on life. The main thing is that these three years have finally helped me find a job in this world that I can live in. Although the subsequent life path is different from the original imagination, in the end, I did not go to the path of being a teacher, and may be going to a more difficult and unpredictable end of the difficult road?
