The memorial hall of Peng Jiazhen, a famous hero of the Xinhai Revolution

Peng Jiazhen, born in 1888 in Jintang County, Sichuan, secretly joined the League during his studies at the Japanese Non-Commissioned Officer School, and then returned to China on the orders of Sun Yat-sen, serving as the military director of the Beijing-Tianjin Alliance and the deputy commander-in-chief of the Northern Expedition of the Shu Army, running to Sichuan, Yunnan, Feng, Beijing, Tianjin, Bao, Luan, Shanghai, Hubei, Ning, Suzhou and other places to publicize the revolution and develop organizations.
At the critical juncture of the Xinhai Revolution, Peng Jiazhen killed Liang Bi, the leader of the Qing Dynasty Sect's Socialist Party, and he himself died on the spot, at the age of 23. Peng Jiazhen made immortal contributions to the overthrow of the imperial system and the establishment of the republic with the merits of a single bullet, opening up a new era in China's history and becoming a national hero who overthrew the feudal imperial system and created a republic. In February 1912, Sun Yat-sen spoke highly of "my old Peng's meritorious projectile" and posthumously recognized him as a great general in the army and gave him a memorial to the Martyrs' Shrine; on January 6, 1953, the Central People's Government issued the "Honorable Commemorative Certificate for the Families of Revolutionary Martyrs" signed by Chairman Mao Zedong himself, commending "Peng Jiazhen's glorious sacrifice in the revolutionary struggle and his great deeds will never be immortalized."
