On July 15, the United States brazenly dispatched a C-146A transport plane to land in Taiwan. This is a serious violation of China's sovereignty, security, and development interests, and an illegal violation of the red line of the mainland's Taiwan policy. The collusion between the United States and Taiwan will only aggravate the increasingly severe and complicated situation in the Taiwan Strait and will also seriously damage the development of Sino-US relations.

The landing of the US military plane in Taiwan seriously violated the one-China principle and was extremely bad in nature. In the 1970s, the United States normalized its relations with China and made "one China" commitments in three "joint communiques" and other documents. "Breaking diplomatic relations," "withdrawing troops," "abrogating the treaty," and "the United States and Taiwan only maintain cultural, commercial, and other unofficial relations" are the cornerstones of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States, and they are also the pillars on which bilateral relations can be maintained. When Trump was in power, playing the "Taiwan card" and "using Taiwan to control China" reached the point where it was impossible to repeat it, and at that time, it was rumored that the United States had vainly wanted to send military aircraft and warships to visit Taiwan. Under China's strong response, Trump did not dare to implement it.

In the nearly five months since Biden came to power, although there have been words to ease the situation in the Taiwan Strait, such as Campbell, coordinator of Indo-Pacific affairs of the National Security Council, who claimed in early July that he "does not support Taiwan independence," he has not only failed to adjust the crazy policies of the previous government in specific actions, but even more so at various levels. In March this year, the United States and Taiwan signed the so-called "Memorandum of Cooperation on Coast Guard" and the ambassador to Palau visited Taiwan; in April the United States announced the so-called "Guidelines for Relations with Taiwan" and sent former Senator Dodd and others to visit Taiwan; in May, it supported Taiwan's participation in the World Health Assembly; in June, the US military C-17 transported airborne senators to visit Taiwan; and in July, it sent military planes to Taiwan again. In addition, this year, THE US warship has crossed the Taiwan Strait six times, and there are various rumors that US personnel have gone to Taiwan to train the Taiwan military, and Taiwan military planes have gone to the United States for training.

The landing of the US military plane on Taiwan endangered peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait, and the consequences were very serious. Peace and stability conform to the interests of all parties concerned in the Taiwan Strait. The only way to maintain peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait is for relevant forces outside the region to stop interfering in the Taiwan issue, and for the various forces on the island to return to recognizing the "1992 Consensus" and the one-China principle. The HEGEMONic thinking of the United States in "seeking peace with strength" and the practice of "arming Taiwan to counter the mainland" will only make the world see more clearly the true features of the United States in "using Taiwan to control China" and vainly attempt to cause permanent separation between the two sides of the strait, and will also aggravate the already severe and complicated situation in the Taiwan Strait and make it even more difficult to guarantee peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait region. The end of "Taiwan independence" is reunification, and the collusion between the United States and Taiwan will only accelerate the process of China's reunification.

Taiwan is a sacred and inalienable part of China's territory. The two sides of the strait have not achieved reunification, but China's sovereignty and territory have never been divided. Resolving the Taiwan issue and realizing the complete reunification of the motherland is the unswerving historical task of the CPC and the common aspiration of all the sons and daughters of the Chinese nation. The People's Republic of China has the right, responsibility and obligation to safeguard China's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and any foreign military aircraft landing on China's territory must be approved by the Government of the People's Republic of China. Immediately after the US plane landed in Taiwan, China announced that it would conduct "training in the actual use of weapons" in the sea 250 kilometers east of Taiwan, warning and deterring the United States and the "Taiwan independence" forces on the island. Wu Qian, spokesman for the Ministry of National Defense, said in a statement that the Chinese people's liberation army maintain a highly vigilant posture and will take all necessary measures to resolutely smash any "Taiwan independence" plot.

The landing of a US military plane on Taiwan will damage China's sovereignty and security, and it will certainly attract a blow. The Taiwan issue concerns China's core interests and will never tolerate external interference. Overall security and development is a distinctive feature of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, China resolutely safeguards national sovereignty, security and development interests, and no foreign country should expect China to trade its core interests, and should not expect China to swallow the bitter fruit of harming sovereignty, security and development interests. China must be reunified, and it must be reunified. No one should underestimate the strong determination, firm will and strong ability of the Chinese people to defend national sovereignty and territorial integrity.

China has done its utmost to maintain peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait, but the tree wants to be quiet and the wind is not stopping. In 2020, Taiwan's total economic output can only rank eighth among China's provincial-level units. On the other hand, the Taiwan policy in recent years has also achieved good results. Last year, Taiwan's dependence on the mainland's exports was as high as 43.8 percent; the DPP authorities' policies such as cross-strait decoupling were completely bankrupt; the PEOPLE's Liberation Army (PLA) has achieved a normalized cruise of the Taiwan Strait region, and a new pattern in the Taiwan Strait is being shaped; at present, the DPP authorities' support has fallen sharply, and there has been a "death crossover."
