The production of "Pingju" is quite interesting: in the late 1960s, Sun Zhengming, a student of the music department of Taiwan Normal University, accidentally met two girls, and the two girls took out the lyrics they wrote and asked Sun to compose the song, saying that they wanted to take it to participate in the "National Salvation Group" song selection, Sun Zhengming lost contact with a friend with the word "Ping" in his name, so after composing the music, he named the song "Pingju".
Because the song was catchy, in the early and mid-1980s, it became a "group song" for the "National Salvation Group" to hold large-scale events, and was often sung by hundreds of people when practicing. (Popular science, the "National Salvation League" is an official background youth activity organization group in Taiwan, that is, to organize various activities such as summer camps for young students, and has now become a public welfare organization)
In 1987, 18-year-old Li Hualing became the first singer of Taiwan's Huaxing Records. Hua Xing changed her name to Li Yijun and published her first album "Pingju", because of the mass base of this song, so Li Yijun was red as soon as she came out.

Hua Xing later merged with Shangge into Shanghua, and Shanghua was acquired by Universal, and the copyright of this song should probably be in the hands of Universal Records;
The second is that the copyright fee for Li Yijun's version may be too high;
The third is because the film needs to make a new version.
Nowadays, some movies need to use the song copyright, but they can't find the copyright owner, the copyright party does not give or the price is too high. The compromise of the film party is to find the songwriter to buy the songwriting copyright (the songwriting copyright and the song copyright do not necessarily belong to the same company), and then find the singer (or the actor of their own film) to sing, and become a new version.
