Many people may not necessarily know that the original sound of "Little Swallow" in the movie was sung by the heroine and famous performance artist Wang Danfeng. And let Wang Danfeng sing this song, proposed by director Tao Jin, because in the plot, Wang Danfeng's character coaxes the child to sleep, and her true voice without special vocal training seems to be more in line with the reality of life.

"Nurse's Diary" is based on Ai Mingzhi's novel "Floating sinking", produced by Jiangnan Film Studio, directed by Tao Jin, starring Wang Danfeng, Tang Huada and Li Wei, released in 1957, telling the story of Jian Suhua, a young woman who graduated from a nursing school, volunteered to dedicate her youth to the most arduous and needy places in the motherland and became an excellent medical talent. Shen Haoru suddenly came to the construction site to take her back to Shanghai to get married, but the result was that she was not happy. In the movie, Jian Suhua and Shen Haoru constitute a contrast between noble and humble, brave and cowardly. At that time, the 33-year-old Wang Danfeng exuded youth and beauty to the audience on the big screen, which made people fascinated.

His wife died early, leaving behind a young daughter, and Jian Suhua took care of his daughter like a loving mother. In the process of fighting for their cause together, the two of them established a sincere relationship...

Shen Haoru, played by Li Wei, is Jian Suhua's lover and an intern doctor at a hospital in Shanghai. This is a selfish person who has his own life in mind. The film does not use much ink, but it successfully shapes the small soul of Shen Haoru.

Originally, a famous performance artist who has starred in "Eight Thousand Miles of Road Clouds and Moon" and "A River of Spring Water Flowing Eastward", the director of this film, Tao Jin, has a goal for the heroine Jian Suhua, that is, the well-known actor Tao Baili (Dr. Zhou, the biological mother of "Little Flower" in the movie "Little Flower"). Tao Baili is no one else, or he is the daughter of the famous drama actor Zhang Manping, because in his opinion, the temperament and appearance of the daughter are very close to the role of Jian Suhua.

At that time, the filmmakers were all selfless, and when Tao Jin heard that Wang Danfeng, who had worked with him, was willing to play this role, he decided to ask Wang Danfeng without thinking, and thus, Wang Danfeng's version of Jian Suhua was achieved.
