Xia Jing was born in Shanghai in 1968, she was admitted to Shanghai Hongkou Yue Theater Troupe in 1980 and is now an actor of Shanghai Film Actors Troupe. Her real fame was when she dressed as a man in the six-part eight-episode series "Dream of the Red Mansion" that began to be released in 1989. Other representative works she starred in and participated in include "Chunhui", "Erhai Love Wave", "Goddess of Victory", "Afuge's Peach Blossom Luck", "Guanghan Treasure Mirror", "Hong Kong Blood", "Hell Hill", "Hatred", "Blood Rose", "Qin Family Storm" and so on.

As we all know, on May 2, 2018, Wang Danfeng, one of New China's top 22 movie stars, died in Shanghai at the age of 94. During the 65th anniversary of the Shanghai Film Actors Troupe, Wang Danfeng was originally planned to give a speech at the Shanghai International Film Festival, but the old man unfortunately passed away. Fortunately, Wang Danfeng's handprint remained, and Tong Ruixin said very happily: "Keep her forever, so that the audience and their favorite generation of legendary actors will remember her." ”
