"Mind the gap" means to note the gap between platforms, one of the London Underground signs, and when the subway stops or departs from the platform, it is generally pronounced by the male voice. There's a love story here.
The phrase Mind the gap was recorded by British actor Oswald for the London Underground in the 1950s, but as technology evolved, more and more subway stations adopted electronic tones, replacing Odywaard's recordings. After Oswald's death in 2007, only Embankent in London was still playing his recordings, so his wife, Margaret, often sat in the station and listened to her husband's voice over and over again. In November 2012, Margaret discovered that her husband's voice had been replaced by an electronic tone. Sad, she wrote a letter to the station, hoping to get a tape of the recording. When the station learned of the original commission, it decided to replay oswald's recording, and Transport for London also burned a CD for Margaret.
Kingston learned of the story and filmed a commercial film "Memory Platform" to perfectly present this moving scene, and built a London subway station in Linkou Studio in Taiwan. A total of 52 professional masters spent 84 hours, sharing 104 liters of paint, 2,000 wooden strips, including 9,190 tiles of the subway wall, and also the staff brick by brick, which is also known as the largest scene in Taiwan's advertising industry in 2013. The advertisement was planned and produced by Taiwan Lingzhi Advertising, in which the product appeared for less than two seconds, (the disc was replaced by a Kingston USB stick) but the brand value requested by Kingston was deeply portrayed in the hearts of the audience.
