What are the Twain series and what are the functions?

Tween is a nonionic surfactant with odorous and warm and bitter characteristics.

Emulsifier Twain is commonly used as an oil/water emulsifier, and can also be used as a solubilizer, stabilizer, diffuser, antistatic agent, fiber lubricant, with wetting, foaming and diffusion properties.

Stability and storage conditions of emulsifier Tween:

Tween surfactants are relatively stable, stable for electrolytes, weak acids and weak bases; in the face of strong acids and strong bases, they will gradually saponify.

Tween 20 (T20):

1. It is easily soluble in water, methanol, ethanol, isopropanol and other solvents, insoluble in motion and mineral oil, and has emulsification, diffusion, solubilization, stabilization and other properties.

2, this product is harmless to the human body, no irritation, usually mainly used to make cakes, ice cream or shortening, etc.

3. In other aspects, it can be used as an emulsifier for mineral oil, a solvent for dyes, an emulsifier for cosmetics, a stabilizer for foam plastics, an emulsifier, diffuser and stabilizer for pharmaceuticals, and an auxiliary for photo emulsions.

Tween 40 (T40):

It is easily soluble in water, methanol, ethanol, isopropanol and other solvents, insoluble in moving, mineral oil, used as o/w type emulsifier, solubilizer, stabilizer, diffuser, antistatic agent, lubricant.

Tween 60 (T60):

1, easily soluble in water, methanol, ethanol, isopropanol and other solvents, insoluble in motion, mineral oil, with excellent emulsification properties, as well as wetting, foaming, diffusion and other effects.

2. Used as o/w type emulsifier, dispersant and stabilizer for the manufacture of food, medicine, cosmetics and water-based coatings.

3, used in the textile industry as a softener, antistatic agent, is polyacrylonitrile spinning oil component and fiber post-processing softener, so that the fiber to eliminate static electricity, improve its softness and give the fiber good dyeing performance.

Tween 80 (T80):

1, soluble in water, methanol, ethanol, insoluble in mineral oil, used as emulsifier, dispersant, wetting agent, solubilizer, stabilizer, used in medicine, cosmetics, food and other industries.

2. Used as a stabilizer and foaming aid in the production of polyurethane foam; can be used as an antistatic agent in synthetic fibers and is an intermediate of chemical fiber oil agent; used as a wetting agent and dispersant in film film; also used as an oil agent and water-soluble emulsifier for nylon and viscose cord thread, often mixed with S-80.

3. Used as oilfield emulsifier, anti-wax agent, heavy oil wetting, resistance reduction agent, near well zone treatment agent; used as precision machine tool modulation lubrication coolant, etc.
