Regarding Liu Changqing's life, there has been no conclusive examination.
Neither the Old Book of Tang nor the New Book of Tang has a biography of him, and Mr. Wen Yiduo believes that his birth year is 709 AD, Mr. Fu Xuanchun believes that it is around 710 or 725, and other theories. The year of death is generally believed to be between 789 and 791; that is, Liu Changqing experienced the four dynasties of Xuanzong, Suzong, Daizong, and Dezong, and was a poet in the transition period from the Sheng Tang to the Middle Tang.

He was born in Luoyang, and when he was young, he studied in Songshan and failed many times. It is said that in the fourteenth year of the new century (755), he may have ascended to the throne, but before it was revealed, the Anshi Rebellion broke out.
The following year, Emperor Suzong ascended the throne, and Liu Changqing was appointed as a county lieutenant in Changzhou County, a subordinate to Suzhou. Soon after being falsely imprisoned, he was released by amnesty, and in the first month of the third year of de (758), he was demoted to the post of lieutenant of Nanba (present-day Dianbai, Guangdong), and left Suzhou for Hongzhou to stand by.
On the way to Hongzhou, he stayed in Yugan and met the great poet Li Bai, "Whoever pities this, don't be sad and happy, send the green mountains to expel the subjects." ("Will Go to Nanba to Yugan Farewell Li XII") Li Bai was pardoned and released on the way to exile Yelang, and Liu Changqing would travel far away from the ridge. In the end, Liu Changqing did not go to Nanba to serve.
In the autumn of the following year (761), he was ordered to return to Suzhou to receive a "re-push".
In the following years, the eunuch sea floated and sank, and finally lost his ambition.
Around 769-770 AD, Liu Changqing and the poet monk Lingche met and left Runzhou.
At this time, Ling Che's poem was not written, and yun traveled to Jiangnan, and his mood was not very good, so he stayed in Runzhou.
The same is the fallen people of the end of the world, one is the official frustration, the other is the cloud travel back to the mountain, these two people chatted together, so there is this famous "Sending Lingche":
Cangcang Bamboo Forest Temple, the bells ring late.
Lotus belt oblique sun, green mountains alone back.
In the pale bamboo forest temple, under the slanting sun, there is the sound of evening bells.
You carry a bucket hat draped in the slanting sun, and return to the green mountains alone and drift away.
Bidding farewell to Lingche, Liu Changqing looked at the place where Lingche was about to arrive: it was a cangshan forest, and the bell of the temple chime was heard in the distance, and the evening bell of dusk seemed to urge Lingche to return to the mountain.
Under a touch of slanting sun, outside several green mountains, distant pedestrians are gradually drifting away.
Ling Che wore a bucket hat and carried the sunset afterglow, and walked alone towards the green mountain, farther and farther away.
The poet stood for a long time, watching his friends go away, like a beautiful landscape painting.
