The Chinese version of "Death Trap" was personally brought by director Lin Yi and actors Xu Shengnan, Zhang Xu, Li Jianhua and Youmei, and will be performed twice in a row at the Tianjin Grand Theatre from October 16 to 17. Produced by shanghai dramatic arts center and Shanghai mousetrap drama studio, the play is based on the works of the famous suspense thriller novelist Ella Levine, and the original play has been staged on Broadway for more than 1,800 consecutive performances, setting a record for the longest thriller suspense drama in Broadway history.
The screenplay for Death Trap was written by the famous American novelist and playwright Ella Levine, who won the Poe Award three times in her lifetime and won the MWA Master Award, the highest honor of the Mystery Writers Association of America, in 2003.
In 2011, "Death Trap" was directed by young director Lin Yi, and "turned out" in the upper words. As a director, "Sound Pro Agatha", "Plaintiff's Witness", "Death Trap", "No One Survives"... She has directed more than ten classic suspense works for more than ten years. "Four Generations Together" has won many awards such as the 2011 National Academy of Arts Troupe Excellent Repertoire Exhibition Outstanding Repertoire Award, the 2012 Drama Golden Lion Award, the 14th Wenhua Award "Wenhua Excellent Repertoire Award" and many other awards, becoming one of the star dramas of the National Drama Theatre of China and known as the "First Drama in Beijing".
