Recently, the Shandong Provincial Government appointed Zhang Hui as the deputy director of the Shandong Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Exploration and Development.
According to the official website of the Shandong Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources, on the morning of December 4, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Shandong Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources held a meeting to convey and study the spirit of the 12th Plenary Session of the 11th Committee of the Communist Party of China in Shandong Province. On the afternoon of November 27, the Theoretical Learning Center Group of the Party Committee of the Shandong Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources held a seminar on the study of the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
Pictures at the scene show that Zhang Huidu participated in the meeting. He previously served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Jining Municipal Party Committee and secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee.

According to the public resume, Zhang Hui was born in June 1980, joined the party in June 1998, graduated from Shandong University of Economics in 2002, and entered the Daode Street Street Office in Huaiyin District, Jinan City after graduation, successively serving as a clerk and assistant director.
In 2004, Zhang Hui was transferred to the Huaiyin District Committee of jinan City of the Communist Youth League and served as the chief clerk. During this period, he was sent to Songzhuang Village and Liuzhuang Village in Wujiapu Town, Huaiyin District, Jinan City, as deputy secretaries of the party branch. In 2006, 26-year-old Zhang Hui was appointed deputy director of the West Market Street Office in Huaiyin District, Jinan.
A year later, the 27-year-old Zhang Hui was transferred to the deputy secretary of the Jinan Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Youth League and a member of the party group.
In 2008, Zhang Hui, who was less than 28 years old at the time, became deputy secretary of the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, a member of the party group, and the director (deputy director) of the Provincial Committee of Young Workers, becoming the youngest departmental-level cadre in the province at that time.
In 2011, the 31-year-old Zhang Hui left Jinan to be transferred to the Standing Committee of the Jining Municipal Party Committee and the secretary of the Jining Municipal Party Committee, and Zhang Hui was reportedly the youngest member of the Standing Committee of the Prefecture-level Municipal Party Committee in the country at that time.
In 2013, with the approval of the State Council, Jining Shizhong District and Rencheng District were abolished, and a new Jining Rencheng District was established, and Zhang Hui concurrently served as the secretary of the Jining Municipal Party Committee.
In 2015, Zhang Hui was appointed secretary of the Jining Municipal Law Commission.

On October 14 last year, the Organization Department of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee issued a pre-appointment announcement for cadres, among which Zhang Hui, currently a member of the Standing Committee of the Jining Municipal Party Committee and secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, intends to assume the leadership position of deputy department level of the districted city.
After the publicity period before his appointment, reports showed that Zhang Hui continued to serve as a member of the Standing Committee of the Jining Municipal Party Committee and secretary of the Political and Legal Committee.
The last time he attended the event as a member of the Standing Committee of the Jining Municipal Party Committee and the Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee was on November 11, when he attended the 32nd joint meeting on stability work in the Weishan Lake area on the Border between Lu and Suzhou.
The Shandong Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Exploration and Development, where Zhang Hui is currently employed, was established in 1958 and was placed under the management of the Shandong Provincial People's Government in 1999. Mainly engaged in basic geological survey, geological prospecting, hydrogeology, environmental geological survey, groundwater and soil pollution remediation, geological disaster prevention and control and engineering survey and construction, surveying and mapping geographic information and other work, is the main force of geological work in Shandong Province.
