Q: Please introduce yourself first.

A: Thank you all for being here today

I am an actor from Japan, Isamu Koetsu. Please look after me in the future.

Interview with Yuki Koetsu once played Echizen Ryoma in the musical "The Prince of Tennis"

Q: There are quite a few fans in China who have fallen in love with Mr. Koetsu because of the role of Ryoma Echizen in the musical "The Prince of Tennis 2nd Season".

Does Mr. Koetsu have any special memories of this musical that can be regarded as his origin?

A: Of course, the musical "The Prince of Tennis 2nd Season" was my first musical, and I was quite impressed by the role of Echizen Ryoma in about four and a half years. This is also the first time to appear in a musical, and it is of course the first time to sing songs and dances in a musical.

Under so many "first" layers, there is now Xiaoyue Yonghui. Is a very precious "origin" memory.

Q: Does Mr. Koetsu have any characters that he hasn't challenged so far that he wants to challenge himself?

A: In terms of character type, for example, the relatively large number of characters I have gotten so far are positive cute types.

Anyway, I'd love to try the villain role, the opponent role, this type of role that I have basically not played.

Q: How did Mr. Koetsu spend his days off? Is there anything you've been particularly obsessed with lately?

A: Rest days – either at the gym, out for a walk, or just at home all day.

If you rest at home, you will cook your own meals and watch TV series and anime and manga.

Q: Mr. Koetsu said in previous interviews that he is a person who is more afraid of life, but now I think that the fear of life has improved somewhat? How does it feel to communicate with people in the field and those present in magazine photography, stage exercises, etc.?

Or are there any interesting memories?

A: Yes, I'm still very scared (laughs)

People who meet for the first time are not very happy to talk to each other at once. But there is still progress compared to before!

It's easier to get acquainted with private exchanges than to go to dinner with people who work with you on the spot, so now when you come to the new scene, you will try to have a meal with everyone.

Q: Does Mr. Koetsu think he is a cat pie or a dog pie?

A: It is a dog pie (second answer) For example, it is a poodle.

To say why, I'm afraid of getting hurt or bleeding, and I often wear black so I don't see (laughs) some similarities to the poodle's personality.

Q: Mr. Xiaoyue is the first time to come to Shanghai to hold a fan meeting, how is he feeling? What is your impression of Shanghai?

A: Because there are many activities in Japan, there are many Chinese fans who come to Japan to watch my stage plays or participate in my activities, and I am really touched by such fans.

Although I was a little uneasy about being able to hold my own meet and greet in Shanghai this time, I was looking forward to meeting the fans who came here.

Ah, I also opened my own Weibo, and when I update, I will see quite a lot of Chinese fans leaving me messages. I feel very happy that so many people outside of Japan support me.

Impressions of Shanghai... About two years ago, I first came to Shanghai, the city scenery and culture are of course completely different from Japan, and I came here again after two years, only two years later... Shanghai has evolved again.......

It is difficult for me to describe the evolution of the specifics, but I feel that Shanghai is a vibrant city. So are the people on the street.

Q: Mr. Koetsu has also recently had more opportunities to appear in TV series, and what is his favorite TV drama role for himself so far? Let's recommend it to the fans.

A: Favorite character? Each character has a personality, it is difficult to give up...

Sure enough, now the latest role left a deep impression on me. It is NHK TV where I am now starring ("Corrupt Girl, うっかりゲイに告る.") This role and my own student days are completely two people, my own student days are well-behaved children sitting quietly in their seats, so it is very impressive to me. There is a feeling of re-experiencing youth

Q: Finally, let's say something to the Fans of China

A: I'm here for the third time, and I've starred in stage plays when I've been here before, but I didn't expect to hold such an event in China, thank you very much!

Taking this as an opportunity, in order to let more Chinese people know me and understand me, I will continue to work hard, please pay more attention to me.
