Attentive pan lid
Panli is a kind of fish native to the Amazon River Basin, and is the same as tilapia in the family Officinalis, they have green plate cichlid, brown plate cichlid, red plate lichfish, blue plate lid and other species. Due to the disc-shaped body of the adult fish, it is named Panli fish.
The fish has a small mouth and a row of small teeth side by side on the upper and lower jaws. Usually, fish have a pair of nostrils, while panlis have one nostril on each side of the head. Adults have alternate side-by-side russet markings, and the dorsal and fins are very well developed. In addition, its body shape and body color will change with continuous growth.
Panli is the most beautiful type of tropical fish, but the reproduction rate is not high. In the 3 to 4 weeks of hatching of the juveniles, my animal friends, the females can be divided into mucus called cilis milk in the skin to feed the juveniles. This secretion is related to hormones secreted by the pituitary gland.
The Panli fish is known as the "Colorful Angelfish" because of the crown and colorful colored colored with various splendid and magnificent patterns all over its body.
Like other cichlids, the lids take great care of their eggs and juveniles. During breeding, males and females work together to clean up the wide-leaved aquatic weeds with their mouths as spawning sites. The females then lay their eggs here, and then the males alternately splash water on the eggs with their fins to keep the water around the eggs clean. After the eggs hatch, the female holds the young in her mouth and moves them to other aquatic weeds, where the juveniles hang. Soon the juveniles turn to the mother, begin to swim, and feed on the milk secreted by the mother's sebum.
The juveniles are brown in colour with black markings on the sides. 6 months after birth, blue spots appear on the head and gill caps.
Adults of panli fish are carnivorous, feeding on booby, earthworms, aquatic insects, etc.
