"CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA" belongs to the joyful genre, that is, Enjoy; "Saint Seiya Myth" is a high-spirited burning song, that is, Excite; and "めぐりあい" brings more emotion, that is, Emotion. These three words that begin with 'E' are in line with the 3 core elements of animation entertainment, so Furuya feels that he has a good eye. But even in Furutani's time, there were only a few voice actors who could play heroes, and because he joined the Youth Production, which accounted for the largest share of the animation dubbing field, he had the honor of playing a large number of heroes. And he believes that such good luck seems to continue to this day.
In addition to the most professional dubbing work, in recent years, Furuya has frequently left the country in variety shows, and seems to be responsible for taking the lead in pushing voice actors from behind the scenes to the front. In this regard, Furutani revealed that because a large part of the behind-the-scenes producers responsible for his appearance grew up watching the animation of their generation of voice actors, and many of these people now have the right to designate guests, so thanks to their blessing, their acting career has gone up to a higher level.
It can be said that the current work at hand of Furuya covers almost all the fields that today's voice actor industry can cover. So how did he get to where he is today? As early as the 3rd grade of junior high school, Furuya formed a rock band with his classmates in the same grade, with him as the lead guitarist and lead singer of the band, and for a time he was extremely obsessed with guitar playing. At the same time, he was the voice of Giant Star, but what he really wanted to be at the time was a musician.
For some time after the end of "Giant Star", Furuya did not take on the animation work and left the troupe to which he belonged. During his university years, in order to aspire to become a singer, Furuya entered the Tokyo Conservatory of Music, run by Wattabe Productions. During this time, while studying vocal fundamentals, he worked as a singer at a shop in Ginza run by Wattabe Productions called メイツ.
However, as he approached graduation and needed to make long-term plans for his lifelong career in the future, Furuya couldn't help but worry about the problem of a way out as a musician and singer, and felt that the future was unpredictable. At that time, it coincided with the hit of "Giant Star", the difficulty of the performance itself, the sense of accomplishment brought about by the success of the performance, and the countless letters from fans who made him happy, all of which were inextricable medals for Furuya, so that he finally chose the path of an actor and joined the Hai Association.
At the beginning, Furuya chose to enter the haiku association because he could do both faceless work and take on voice actor work, but doing it he was completely fascinated by anime dubbing, because he was a hero in the anime, which was a super good job. Just when Furuya was considering only music as a hobby, he did not expect the collateral effect caused by voice actor work, and someone actually took the initiative to find him to make a record and form a pure voice actor band! The music work that he had been looking forward to doing in the past was also placed in front of him, which was simply a perfect arrangement tailored by heaven for him, as if it could only be explained by the high fortune of fortune. After that, Furuya and his voice actor companions formed the "スラップスティック", and also tried many forms of performance work, including solo singing, character songs, and anime theme songs. What impressed him the most was the pre-release ticket sale seminar promotion event held at the Anime Ikebukuro Main Store in February 2004. During the theatrical greeting session after the festival ended, Furuya also played a hoshiya cosplay, wearing a red sleeveless T-shirt with red bandages wrapped around his wrists and jeans with red boots.
