Doncic is talented West says he has Kobe Bryant's shadow

After winning rookie of the year, Luka Doncic did not hit the wall, but instead performed to the next level, handing over amazing statistics for two consecutive years and leading the Lone Rangers into the playoffs. Scarily, Doncic is still just a 22-year-old young man.

Doncic's performance also made legendary star Jerry West applaud, calling out how a team could let go of such a talented star at the 2018 draft.

West confessed that when he first saw Doncic, he had noticed that the young man had Kobe's shadow on him.

He was a one-of-a-kind child who competed with adults in Europe at just 15 years old. And he's not uncompetitive, he's doing a great job. West said.

Like Bryant, Doncic dominated opponents older than he was at a very young age; he was clearly the best player in their draft lineup.
