Sheng Lihao was selected for the Shooting Team of Suzhou Sports School in 2017, the Jiangsu Provincial Shooting Team in 2018, and the China National Shooting Team in 2019.
In March 2019, Sheng Lihao won the runner-up in the men's 50m rifle three-posture event of the National Shooting Championships, the gold medal of the air rifle individual and team at the Second National Youth Games in August, and the individual champion of the air rifle in the national shooting finals in 2019.
In July this year, Sheng Lihao won the individual silver medal in the 10m men's air rifle at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
Yesterday afternoon, the 14th National Games shooting 10m air rifle mixed team final was held at the Chang'an Changning Ecological Sports Training and Competition Base, and the youngster Sheng Lihao from Suzhou partnered with his Olympic combination Zhang Yu to win the bronze medal with a 16:8 victory over the Liaoning team.
Starting from the last National Games, participating units are encouraged to form teams across units in technical and tactical cooperation projects. Some of the events of the Fourteenth Games are linked to the Tokyo Olympic Games, and the athletes participating in the Olympic Games can continue to form the "Olympic Joint Team" to participate in the final stage of the Fourteenth Games. At this National Games, Jiangsu team young player Sheng Lihao joined hands with his Olympic partner, Henan team player Zhang Yu, to form an Olympic joint second team to continue to compete.
A total of 47 groups of runners participated in the 10m air rifle mixed team competition. Yesterday afternoon, two rounds of qualifying were held, and Olympic champions Yang Qian and Yang Haoran and Zhejiang second team Wang Zhilin and Wang Yuefeng entered the gold medal competition, and Yang Qian and Yang Haoran won the championship again with a 17:13 lead. The bronze medal competition was played between the joint second team Zhang Yu and Sheng Lihao and the Liaoning first team Shi Wenxin and Song Buhan, the two groups of young players performed steadily, and in the two rounds of qualification, Zhang Yu, Sheng Lihao and Shi Wenxin and Song Buhan successfully advanced to the third and fourth places respectively.
In the final stage, the number of rings per shot of each pair of players is compared, if the number of rings of two people is higher than the opponent, two points are awarded, if the number of rings of the two teams is tied, each gets one point, and the team that gets 16 points first wins.
After the game began, Zhang Yu and Sheng Lihao quickly entered the state, and the total number of rings of the first three shots exceeded the opponent, leading 6:0. Starting with the 4th shot, the two members of the Liaoning first team began to catch up steadily, scoring four consecutive points with steady play for two consecutive rounds. The match then went into a fever pitch, with both sides scoring 2 points each by a slight margin of 0.1 rings. In the 8th shot, Zhang Yu and Sheng Lihao each played 10.7 rings, Liaoning team Shi Wenxin played 10.8 rings, song Buhan played 10.6 rings, and the two sides scored 1 point each, and the score came to 9:7. Since then, the Liaoning first team has not scored, the united two teams continue to score, the score on the field after the 11th shot came to 15:7, the united second team took the lead in winning the match point, as long as it takes another 1 point to achieve this victory, then it depends on who has higher stability. In the last shot, Zhang Yu and Sheng Lihao once again played 10.6 rings, Shi Wenxin played 10.3 rings, Song Buhan played 10.9 rings, the total number of rings between the two sides was drawn again to get 1 point each, and the united second team took the lead in getting 16 points and won the bronze medal.
