On October 28, Li Hao, the first gold medalist of the Paralympic Games and a young player from Huaying, returned to his alma mater, Huaying Middle School in Sichuan Province, and gave a wonderful motivational speech to his alma mater's teachers and sisters.
When Li Hao took the stage under the guidance of the former homeroom teacher, the scene resounded with warm applause. Li Hao first talked about his misfortune when he was a child, and the teachers and sisters at the scene left sad tears. When Li Hao was more than two years old, he was forced to amputate his leg because of a car accident, leaving regrets.
Next, Li Hao told the teachers and sisters how he met the mentor and how to start the road of physical training. In September 2007, Li Hao entered Huaying Yanghe Junior High School, insisted on attending physical education classes with his classmates, and overcame many difficulties to participate in training activities such as queue training, long jump, middle and long distance running, and table tennis. In junior high school, participating in queue training, in order to get rid of crutches, Li Hao fell a lot of heels, was ridiculed by many classmates, and finally survived. In order to practice one-legged training, he jumped in and out of the classroom window with the help of the vertical column of the classroom window, which was both stable and safe, and the leg strength was greatly improved.
In September 2010, Li Hao entered Huaying Middle School with special enrollment in sports, and his physical fitness was further improved. The physical education teacher once served as a soldier and a class teacher, and gave Li Hao selfless love and help. In training, Li Hao is hard-working, has a fighting spirit, and likes to watch the disabled game. In the training, he arranged to practice single-legged jumping, single parallel bars and other projects to train upper limb strength and waist and abdomen strength, and later represented Guang'an City to participate in the Sichuan Provincial Paralympic Games, and achieved a good result of fourth place.
Finally, Li Hao interacted with his brothers and sisters. The teachers and disciples raised a series of questions, and he answered them carefully. At the end of the speech, the teachers and disciples enthusiastically asked Li Hao to sign a photo. Everyone expressed that they would learn from Li Hao's spirit of being disabled and determined to win glory for the country, overcome difficulties, forge ahead, and study hard to realize the Chinese dream.
On August 25, Li Hao won the first gold medal at the Tokyo Paralympic Games in the wheelchair fencing competition at the Tokyo Paralympic Games, and Li Hao defeated Ukraine's Manko 15:12 in the men's sabre individual A-class final to win the first gold medal for the Chinese team. On August 29, Li Hao once again won the team foil championship for the Chinese legion. The hometown of Hongyan, the landscape and water are gorgeous, and where people are educated, talents are born. Li Hao is the pride of Hua Ying, but also the pride of China, and he hopes that Li Hao will achieve good results at the Paralympic Games.
