Haiqing, who has a super high national popularity, has transformed into the "ugly mother" of dozens of children this time. Li Zefeng also broke through the previous image and played Zhang Jingping, a revolutionary scholar who was introverted and generous, and became the strongest backing of ugly Gang. The new generation of actor Zhou also incarnated as "Proud Miss" Tang Susu, experiencing the fiery journey of the character abandoning the golden clothes and food and accompanying more than a dozen children to grow up together. Zhu Rui also joined the "group with children" and starred as Shen Yuanhui, the "gentle mother" of the nursery, and devoted himself to the cause of childcare.

The TV series "Ah Cradle" is different from the previous revolutionary historical dramas, which is adapted from real historical stories, focusing on the rear of the revolution, telling the unique perspective of women and children in the 1930s and 1940s, in order to protect the descendants of the revolution, the Party Central Committee established a central nursery in Yan'an, and ugly Gang (Haiqing) was ordered to lead a group of revolutionary workers to start a legendary life of childcare. In those wartime years, a group of childcare workers, whether revolutionary workers or simple and kind women, were united by their children. "Protecting every child" is their mission, and "everything for the sake of children" is their belief. Because of the war, the central nursery was forced to embark on a three-year-long transfer road, along the way they crossed the mountains, crossed the Yellow River, dodged enemy planes, and finally successfully delivered 96 children to the designated location safely. With the power of faith and love, the nurserymen injected warmth and love into that era of fire, creating a "red fairy tale".

In the trailer released, "Let's do Ye's business, Ye is humble and hanging in the shade", with Zhang Jingping (Li Zefeng) affectionately reciting Tagore's poems, slowly entering the history that should not be forgotten. In the trailer, every nurseryman is loving and guarding every child with their lives, they accompany the children to play, learn, and do their best to provide the best environment for the children. Not only that, when the war is raging, they use their bodies to protect their children; when the artillery bombardment, they try their best to hold the children to escape the danger... As stated at the beginning of the trailer, the nurserymen are the "leaves", and the children are the sweet "flowers", and each "leaf" has always been obscure and fearless in order to protect the thousands of "flowers", because this is their faith.
