The teaching field gate is located on the south side of the middle section of Lianhu Road, from the intersection of Hongbu Street and North Guangji Street in the east to the south entrance of Laowu Lane in the west.
The course is not straight, 325 meters long, and intersects 6 north-south streets. During the Sui and Tang dynasties, this area was named Iron Furnace Workshop, Teaching Field Gate and Hongbu Street, Tuche Lane and Erfu Street were all located at the first horizontal street of the Sui and Tang Imperial City, and the ancient name was "Iron Furnace Four Fangs". In the Ming Dynasty, the teaching field gate was a large teaching field and a place for military training. At the end of the Ming Dynasty, after Li Zicheng established the Dashun regime in Xi'an, he used to review the army here. During the Qing Dynasty, there were several teaching grounds in Xi'an City, which became the "Fubiao Teaching Field" of the Green Camp.
The most famous delicacy on this street is the Jiaochang Gate Dumplings, which originated in the late Qing Dynasty, where the owner Meng Zhaowu initially set up a small stall, and later shared a shop with a family selling bacon meat sandwiches, and then the wonton business grew and continues to this day.
