On August 1, 1927, the Leadership of the Communist Party of China launched the Nanchang Uprising, firing the first shots of armed resistance against the Kuomintang reactionaries. In Ruijin, the Party established the Chinese Soviet Republic, which opened the exploration of the construction of red power.

Standing in the Jinggangshan Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery in The North Mountain of Ciping, the reporter was shocked by a set of figures: in the 2 years and 4 months since the establishment of the Jinggangshan Revolutionary Base Area, the Red Army has sacrificed more than 48,000 people, an average of 56 people have fallen every day, and only 15,744 people have left their names, which are engraved on the wall of the martyrs' names in the cemetery memorial hall.
On the eve of the Spring Festival in 2016, President Xi Jinping visited the Jinggangshan Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery during his inspection of Jinggangshan. In the exhibition room and the Hall of Loyal Souls, President Xi Jinping gazed at the photos of the founding fathers and revolutionary martyrs, and said affectionately that Jinggang Mountain is a mountain of revolution, a mountain of battle, a mountain of heroes, and a glorious mountain.
In recent years, the troops stationed in Gansu have firmly remembered Chairman Xi's entrustment, relied on Jiangxi's thick revolutionary history, persisted in joint excavation and system design between the military and the localities, started from firm ideals and convictions, carried out red traditional education for officers and men, and explored such local teaching models as "the purpose of the martyrs' cemetery, the soul of the army in the Three Bay Villages, the strong belief in front of the octagonal tower, and the hardships of picking grain and small roads", so as to deepen the effect of studying and educating party history and military history. Whether it is poverty alleviation, emergency rescue and disaster relief, or fighting the epidemic, the troops stationed in Gansu have resolutely obeyed the party's command, and the more difficult and dangerous they are, the more they move forward.
In February last year, the Jiangxi Provincial Military Region issued a blood donation initiative to the troops stationed in Gansu. In just a few days, more than 1,600 officers and soldiers enthusiastically signed up, and the amount of blood donated reached 377,100 ml.
Last summer, the flood control situation in Jiangxi was grim. The officers and men stationed in the garrison moved at the behest of the order, racing against time to strengthen the embankments, block the pipes, and deal with hidden dangers; they charged wherever the most dangerous was, and went all out to protect the safety of the people's lives and property. From Nanchang to Ruijin, from Jinggangshan to Yudu, every red site in Jiangxi has a moving heroic story. Many of the heroes in the story have a common characteristic - youth.
Lu Deming, the commander-in-chief of the Autumn Harvest Uprising, was 22 years old when he died, Zhang Ziqing, commander of the Red Eleventh Division, was 28 years old when he died, and Wang Erzhuo, chief of staff of the Red Fourth Army, was 25 years old when he died...
"Before, I always felt that heroes were far away from us. In fact, they are also our peers. This is a scene in the party history study and education class of the Army Infantry Academy. The students who are about to graduate this year are video connecting with the graduating students who are guarding the border of the motherland, remembering yesterday's heroes and talking about today's choices.
Wu Jingwei is a 2019 graduate of the college. That summer, when President Xi Jinping inspected the college, Wu Jingwei, as the training backbone of the cadet team, demonstrated and reported on the obstacle training. Recalling the scene at that time, Wu Jingwei was extremely proud: "President Xi encouraged us to make good use of red resources, pass on red genes, and cultivate qualified Red Army descendants from generation to generation. In May 2019, when President Xi Jinping inspected Yudu, Jiangxi Province, he stopped for a long time in front of a "map of straw shoes" at the Memorial Hall of the Long March of the Central Red Army. At that time, more than 80,000 Red Army soldiers assembled on the banks of the Du river and embarked on a long march of thousands of miles to climb snow-capped mountains and cross meadows. In order not to prevent the Red Army from fighting barefoot, every household in the Soviet area beat straw shoes and gave them to the soldiers.

The old revolutionary areas are the roots of the party and the people's army, and enabling the people in the old areas to live a good life is the solemn commitment of our party and the mission of the people's children and soldiers.

In the past, due to the inconvenience of transportation and the single industry in Chengjiang Village, Yudu County, some villagers lived in poverty for a long time. Just after the Spring Festival in 2018, more than 40 rocket army engineers were put into the construction of the village's highway. In just half a year, a 6.5-meter-wide asphalt road equipped with solar street lights connected Chengjiang Village with National Highway 319. Soon, dozens of roads and household roads in the village were completed.
The road enters the village and enters the household, and the industry lands and settles down. By providing special assistance funds, the Rocket Force organs helped Chengjiang Village to set up a planting and breeding cooperative, so that the average annual income of poor households increased by more than 3,000 yuan. At the end of 2019, the per capita annual income of Chengjiang Village reached 10,073 yuan, a 5-fold increase from 4 years ago.
Poverty alleviation measures are expensive and difficult to be precise.
Walking into Dupi Village, Aoli Township, Jinggangshan City, a hakka-style three-story building comes into view. This is a project funded and aided by the Eastern Theater, and the party building activity room, distance education room, conference room, and library are all available in the building. In 2016, the organs of the Eastern Theater identified Dupi Village as the target of fixed-point assistance, and the poverty alleviation working group entered the village again and again, conspired with the local government and the masses to seek countermeasures, increased the construction of infrastructure such as roads, water and electricity, and expanded red tourism and cultural facilities, so that Dupi Village could be integrated into the red tourism circle of Xianggan.
The reporter saw that many tourist buses from Sanwan Village to Jinggangshan stopped in Dupi Village. Tourists walking into Dupi Village can not only visit the red site, listen to the red story, but also experience the life of the Red Army. Villagers' incomes have risen as red tourism heats up.
In recent years, the story of getting rich in small villages has come out of the old revolutionary areas of Jiangxi. On April 26, 2020, all 25 poverty-stricken counties in Jiangxi Province were lifted out of poverty, and the overall poverty problem in Jiangxi was basically solved.
"Why did so many poor people follow the Red Army back then?" It is because they believe that they are the children and soldiers of the people, and they are single-mindedly seeking happiness for the poor. Standing in front of the "Red Army Well" in the village, Xie Xinfa, secretary of the party branch of Dupi Village, sighed, "Over the past few decades, the true colors of the disciples and soldiers have not changed at all. ”
