There is a sea called Dalian, and there is a story called Lushun. In Lushun, there are many nostalgia and stories of me and my comrades-in-arms. On June 22 this year, I returned to lushun jungang, my second hometown after 30 years of absence, and sun Qingzheng and his wife Liang Lijie, who had been transferred to the local area, drove me to the coastline of Lushun Golden Mountain in a busy way, and took us to visit the "World's Smallest Palace - Puyi Building" located in the northeast corner of Golden Mountain.

Lushun Golden Mountain Puyi Building
Lushun Golden Mountain Puyi Building, Qing Dynasty, modern and modern important historical sites and representative buildings, located in Desheng Street, No. 113 Golden Street, the shore of The Golden Mountain, is a bungalow single European-style building, sitting north facing south, 16 meters long, 15.6 meters wide, about 4.5 meters high, the plane is basically square.
The façade is masonry, the interior and the outer corridors on the west side are wooden, the windows are convex, and the roof has a pointed tower brake, covered by iron sheets. In the 1930s, Puyi lived here, so it was also called "Puyi Building". It has certain reference value for the study of the history of the late Qing Dynasty, the modern and modern history of Dalian and the history of Japanese invasion of China.
After the Japanese occupation of Northeast China in 1929, in preparation for the establishment of the puppet Manchukuo government, it was necessary to find a puppet, who was the last monarch of the Qing Dynasty, the Xuantong Emperor Puyi, and built a palace here, the entire palace construction area of 207 square meters, the architectural style retains the traditional design of the Qing Dynasty and has both Japanese architectural characteristics.
In November 1931, the japanese secret service chief Doihara and Zheng Xiaoxu (who was in charge of foreign affairs at Puyi's side and had been a consul stationed in Kobe, Japan) abducted Puyi to Lushun for the government of Manchuria in the northeast. The "Concubine Building" separated by Puyi Lou and it has become a temporary resting place for Puyi and his smallest imperial concubine Wan Rong to go north to Changchun, and the old site of Puyi Lou has become a cultural relics protection unit.

In 1931, after the "918" incident, the Japanese controlled Puyi in Lushun, and Wan Rongsijun, who remained alone in Tianjin, was eager to rely on and eager to rush to Puyi's side. Puyi, who was in Lushun, also missed her, and he entrusted Yoshiko Kawashima to go to Tianjin to bring Wanrong to Dalian. However, what Wanrong, who set foot on the land of Dalian, did not expect that the reunion with Puyi was blocked by the Japanese. Wanrong faced the embarrassing situation of having nothing to live in, just because Wang Jilie and Wanrong's teacher were the same subject, and under the recommendation of the teacher, Wanrong lived in Wang Jilie's villa.
Wanrong cried and cried to stay, but Wang Jilie was very excited, Wang Jilie in his heart, still believed that Puyi and the empress were high in status, and Wang Jilie, as a human subject for many years, did not have many opportunities to see Puyi and the empress, so Wang Jilie attached great importance to the arrival of Wanrong, he vacated the entire second floor of the villa for Wanrong to live, and did the best in eating and living as much as possible.
However, WanRong has only one purpose for this trip, that is, to be with Puyi, and if the purpose cannot be achieved, it will naturally not be happy. WanRong couldn't sleep at night, and the room was filled with sad emotions. Finally she began to break down, crying here, shouting here, living here like a year. After more than a month of making trouble, the good news finally came, and the Japanese took her to Lushun to meet puyi. Because Wang Jilie took good care of Wanrong, from 1931 to 1933, he was appointed as a puppet Manchu "adviser to the imperial palace".
After Wanrong left, Wang Jilie did not grow old in this villa. A few years later, Wang Jilie returned to Suzhou and placed his spirit on the study of Kunqu opera. After the founding of New China in 1949, Wang Jilie went to Beijing to prepare to participate in the work of the Museum of Culture and History, but was paralyzed by illness and died in Beijing on March 1, 1952. Time flies, more than half a century, about wang jilie's residence later, many people have been unable to verify, but because of the short residence of the last empress Wanrong, this small building is famous in the world, and there are many talks and sighs about history.
