Liu Zhongren, deputy general manager of Yinxi Railway Co., Ltd., introduced at the press conference on the opening and operation of the Yinchuan-Xi'an high-speed railway held on December 25 that the Yinxi high-speed railway is an important part of China's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network Baotou (Yinchuan) to Haikou passage, and is the first high-speed railway in China to cross the edge of the Maowusu Desert and the world's largest Loess Plateau Plateau, and the longest ballast high-speed railway with the longest mileage built at one time.

Since the start of construction of the Yinxi high-speed railway, the Yinxi Railway Company and the participating units have actively solved the "three major" problems of desert Gobi, collapsible loess and lack of ballast high-speed rail construction experience, closely focusing on the goal of creating innovative, iconic and exemplary boutique projects, while scientifically organizing construction, adhering to innovation-driven leadership, paying attention to improving the scientific and technological content in construction, and effectively ensuring the safety and quality of the project.
Tunnel construction, Yinxi high-speed railway has overcome the world problem of complex loess belt railway tunnel construction technology represented by the above Gecun Tunnel, and gradually mastered the excavation law of complex loess layer tunnels, as well as six innovative technologies such as grouting and precipitation at a surface depth of more than 100 meters, rapid excavation of loess tunnels, anti-crystallization, and substrate reinforcement treatment.
Adhering to independent innovation and creating the "four electricity" boutique project, Yinxi Railway Company, China Railway Third Bureau Group Corporation, lanzhou Jiaotong University, after hard work, developed 12 BIM application leading technologies such as "four electric family library construction, G network wireless signal coverage simulation, cable arrangement algorithm", etc., and created a new model of "four electricity" project full-cycle construction management that integrates design, construction and operation, with "technical bottom visualization, comprehensive analysis and digitization, intelligent laying of cables, intensive system management, and standardization of construction processes" The remarkable advantages have successfully enabled the "four electrics" project construction technology to achieve a new leap forward, and promoted the construction technology of China's high-speed rail "four electrics" project to take a big step forward.
Build a green high-speed railway, resolutely implement the national environmental protection measures, and complete the restoration and reclamation of the traces in a timely manner after the completion of the main project for all temporary land and slag dumps, effectively protecting the fragile ecological environment along the line. In the section from Wuzhong to Baitugang, which is seriously eroded by wind and sand, 1.12 million square meters of "tree branch square sand fixation belt" has been laid, which effectively blocked the wind and sand on the road, and also provided scientific and technological support for the environmental protection and greening of the arsenic high-speed rail through the wind and sand and desert areas.
