Niu Zilong followed Liu Shuxun to the Eighth Route Army in order to protect his own safety. Therefore, although the Military Command Bureau repeatedly ordered its subordinates to send people to infiltrate niuzilong's department, persuade Niu zilong to return to the military unification organization on the condition that he did not blame the past, or tried to bribe outlaws to assassinate Niu zilong, but this did not achieve its goal.

After the surrender of the Japanese Kou, Niu Zilongbu was absorbed by the Eighth Route Army and transferred to Linxian county as a military engineering captain, because of his repeated achievements in fighting with the Kuomintang army, he led the troops to Hunan in 1949, and served as the commander of the Hengyang Military Sub-district, and later because of his mistakes, he was punished in the "three antis, five antis".

Serial (4) Liu Mao'en arrested Yang Wei, Yang Wei regurgitated Liu Mao'en's dismissal, and the dog bit the dog's mouth

In April 1946, as Chiang Kai-shek prepared to launch a civil war, the military deployment was generally ready, and in terms of military and intelligence cooperation, following the united States' establishment, the General's Bureau was renamed the Secrecy Bureau of the Ministry of National Defense. But in fact, it was still a secret service organization under Chiang Kai-shek's direct control, and Mao Renfeng, the director of the Secrecy Bureau, was even more subservient to Chiang Kai-shek.

At that time, Liu Ji, who was also the director of the Henan Station, the director of the investigation office of the provincial government, the chairman of the Kaifeng Branch of the Han Traitor Handling Committee, and the chief of the Kaifeng Military and Police Joint Inspection Office, made a fortune because of the arrest of the traitors and the acceptance of enemy and fake property.

He revealed to his relatively close subordinates: "No matter how the military command organs change in the future, the organization and personnel of Henan can only be counted by Liu Ji. At that time, Xie Meicun was the head of the Kaifeng group of the Henan Station, and Liu Ji had bragged about it in person to Xie Meicun.

He had officials, power, money, and backstage, and he carried out arrests and extortion activities even more frantically in various parts of Henan; at the same time, the Interior Department of the Executive Yuan added a police general bureau, and Chiang Kai-shek appointed Tang Zhong, deputy to the Military Command Bureau, as director. Because Tang Zhong and the Henan military commanders had a personal relationship with Yang Wei (alias Yang Tingfang Shangcheng County), who had served as police chief in Zhengzhou and Kaifeng, Yang Wei was transferred back from Shandong to Henan as police chief.

Yang Wei's attitude toward his subordinates was sincere and amiable, so that some military commanders who graduated from the military unification and police training class in Henan took advantage of Yang Wei's initial return to Henan to build a new organization, and there was no opportunity for the team to defect to Yang Wei's door to seek official positions. At that time, Xie Meicun also introduced Zhang Yumeng and invited Yang Wei to his home for dinner.

In order to adapt to Chiang Kai-shek's anti-communist and anti-people civil war, so that intelligence must be coordinated with the military, the Secrecy Bureau decided to divide the military command organs in Henan into public (provincial investigation office) and secret (Henan station). Taking the Yellow River as the natural boundary, Henan Station was divided into two stations, Kaifeng and Xinxiang, to lead the military unification organizations on both sides of the Yellow River.

Liu Ji's dream of monopolizing the two units of gong (provincial investigation office) and mi (Henan station) could no longer be accomplished. After much thought, he held that although the provincial investigation office belonged to fewer units, it ruled the whole province, and the two stations of military command, Kaifeng and Xinxiang, could only lead the military command units on both sides of the Yellow River. If we can recommend to the Secrecy Bureau two military commanders who obey my command to serve as station chiefs, cooperate with each other, and work together, we can still compete with Yang Wei in the Central Plains.

At that time, Xie Meicun was the head of the Kaifeng group of Henan Railway Station, and he got along with the station chief Liu Ji, and the relationship was relatively harmonious, and Liu Ji sent Wang Dazhong, chief inspector of the Kaifeng Military and Police Joint Inspection Office, to tell Xie Meicun: "Liu Ji is ready to send a telegram to ensure that you will be the station chief of Kaifeng. And let Xie Meicun come to Liu Ji's home that night to talk in detail.

Serial (4) Liu Mao'en arrested Yang Wei, Yang Wei regurgitated Liu Mao'en's dismissal, and the dog bit the dog's mouth

Just as Liu Ji was looking for a candidate, the matter was learned by Liu Yizhou, the founder of the former military commander of Henan (then deputy commander of Henan Province's security), that is, to Liu Ji's family for secret discussion, after interviewing his heart, they all believed that if the two Liu united, they could still divide the world with Yang Wei, otherwise, they were bound to be broken by Yang.

That is, it was decided that Liu Ji would be responsible for sponsoring Wang Puqing (a native of Jixian County, who was Liu Yizhou's secretary) and Wu Mengfu (a native of Yanjin, formerly the chief of the intelligence section of Henan Station) to the Secrecy Bureau (formerly the Military Command Bureau), and to serve as the station chiefs of Kaifeng Station and Xinxiang Station. Afterwards, Wang Dazhong told Xie Meicun that Liu Ji did not talk to Xie Meicun again.

At that time, Liu Ji believed that after such an arrangement, although the organization was divided into public secrets, it was still possible to issue orders to the two station chiefs in Henan in the position of director of the investigation office of the provincial government.

When Yang Wei first returned to Henan and competed for power with Liu Ji, who was deeply rooted within the military unification organization, it was inevitable that there was a feeling that it was difficult to support the lone army. However, Yang Wei believes that in the future, as long as he can obtain the favor of Mao Renfeng, director of the Secrecy Bureau, and Tang Zhong, director of the General Police Department, Liu Ji, although he has the support of Liu Yizhou, he will not be able to move his hair.

At that time, the student movement in Kaifeng, under the secret leadership of the CCP, launched a struggle against civil war and hunger, and the storm surged up, attracting the masses of the whole city and the whole province, who believed that the Chiang family dynasty must be overthrown in order for the people to have a happy life.

At that time, all the reactionary leaders in Kaifeng, including Liu Maoen, the chairman of the provincial government, Wang Gongdu, the director of the Education Department, and Liu Ji, the director of the provincial investigation office, had already sensed that their reactionary rule was precarious and had a sense of gou annunciation, but Yang Wei, who was usually actively anti-communist, had already felt uneasy in his heart when he saw this situation. Therefore, at the meeting of the provincial government at that time, he put forward a blacklist of schools, organs, and units suspected of being communists in his daily life, and demanded that they be arrested, detained and interrogated in order to maintain public order in Kaifeng.

The meeting decided to dispatch a number of military and police personnel, under the command of Yang Wei, focusing on Henan University and the First Normal School, including other organs and units, to arrest them on a blacklist. As a result, a total of 1450 people were arrested and imprisoned in the Kaifeng Nanguan Provincial Training Corps and given non-criminal interrogation. Yang Wei's move was highly valued by the military and political authorities at that time, and Yang Wei himself was blind to everything and proud and complacent.

At this time, Mao Renfeng, director of the Secrecy Bureau, held that Liu Ji, director of the Investigation Office of the Henan Provincial Government, Wang Puqing, director of the Kaifeng Station, and Yang Wei, director of the police department, could not cooperate and work together because they were fighting for power and profits, attacking and accusing each other, which really hindered the development of military unification work, but yang Wei was particularly appreciative of his active anti-communism.

In early 1948, the Secrecy Bureau issued an order: Liu Ji, director of the Provincial Investigation Office, and Wang Puqing, director of the Kaifeng Station, were dismissed from their posts, and the public secrets were merged, and the above two units were ordered to be concurrently appointed by Yang Wei, the commissioner of police.

The ambitious Yang Wei, still not satisfied with such a favor for the Secrecy Bureau, intimidated his military command secret service forces and asked Liu Mao'en, chairman of the provincial government, to be appointed as a member of the provincial government. Liu Mao'en shirked Yang Wei's experience on the grounds that it was inconvenient to sponsor.

However, Yang Wei believes that Liu Mao'en is an excuse, refuses to guarantee promotion, and does not measure up to his own strength. Even if liu Mao'en was ordered to collect all the materials on Liu Mao'en's crimes such as selling official titles and embezzlement and extortion since he became chairman of the provincial government, he was ordered to collect and file charges with the Nanjing Executive Yuan, the Supervision Yuan, the Secrecy Bureau, and other organs, setting off a huge campaign to overthrow Liu Mao'en in Henan.

After Liu Mao'en learned of the situation, he did not show weakness; on the one hand, he took advantage of the factional struggle within the military command, and with the assistance of Liu Yizhou, deputy commander of the provincial security department, to collect The bad deeds of Yang Wei's return to Henan as police chief; on the other hand, he took advantage of the power of the provincial chairman to plan to remove Yang Wei from his post and investigate, arrest and detain him, in order to vent his personal anger.

When the military police sent by Liu Maoen to arrest Yang Wei entered the police station, Yang Wei and his secretary Yu Huating sent the Kaifeng Aviation Station Commander (or Air Force Commander) out of the gate to shake hands and say goodbye, and had not yet boarded the car. The communication officer of the Police Department hurriedly reported to Yang Wei, causing Yang Wei to suddenly look like dirt and be overwhelmed. When the air station chief learned of this, he immediately pulled Yang Wei by the hand, and the two boarded the car together and sped away. Coincidentally, just when a plane flew to Nanjing, the station manager sent Yang Wei and Yu Huating to board the plane, and a catastrophe was spared.

In May of that year, Xie Meicun resigned as the leader of the Handan group of Xinxiang Station and went to the Nanjing Secrecy Bureau to seek a new job, passing through Kaifeng, and Yang Wei had dinner at home with Xie Meicun. When Xie Meicun arrived in Nanjing two days later, they met again in Nanjing, and Fang knew the above situation.

In late May 1948, Yang Wei fled to Nanjing by plane from Kaifeng, and was about to be dismissed by Liu Maosi to investigate the incident, and made a report to Mao Renfeng, director of the Secrecy Bureau, and Tang Zhong, director of the General Police Bureau.

Serial (4) Liu Mao'en arrested Yang Wei, Yang Wei regurgitated Liu Mao'en's dismissal, and the dog bit the dog's mouth

After hearing this, Both Mao and Tang were extremely angry, believing that Liu Mao'en's treatment of Yang Wei, a backbone member of the military command, was really too old for his grandfather to move the soil on his head, and he did not even say hello beforehand, and a provincial chairman was so arrogant! After deliberation, it was decided that Mao Renfeng would take charge, on the grounds that the People's Liberation Army had failed to defend the city of Kaifeng because Liu Mao'en was ineffective, and on the basis of the facts collected by Yang Wei about Liu Mao'en's corruption and perverting the law over the years, he personally went to Lushan to report to Chiang Kai-shek, asking Liu Mao'en to be removed from his post and that Zhang Yi, commander of the Fifth Appeasement District of Xinyang, would succeed him as chairman of Henan Province.

At the same time, it was decided that the Secrecy Bureau would appoint Yang Wei as the station chief of Zhengzhou, and order all military unified public and secret units in Kaifeng and Zhengzhou to be unified under the leadership of Zhengzhou Station, including the Investigation and Statistics Office of the Henan Provincial Government, the Joint Investigation and Punishment of the Military and Police in Kaifeng, the Police Department of Henan Province, the Second Division of the Zhengzhou Headquarters of the General Headquarters of the Army, and the police sections of the Beijing-Hankou and Longhai Railways in Kaifeng and Zhengzhou.

The station was temporarily located in the Red Swastika Society on Yanling Street, and because of the narrow house, it was relocated to the address occupied by the former Japanese Sakai special forces on Mosque Street. In addition to Yang Wei, station director, Sun Weiting, deputy station chief, Inspector Xie Meicun, and secretary Zhou Yupu, the station department has general affairs, personnel, accounting, cashiers, intelligence editors, translators, judicial commissioners, direct correspondents and action teams, and guard groups.

In front of the door day and night, there are guards with guns, like a tiger gate. In addition to strictly deploying and reconnaissance of the activities of the CCP's underground organizations, the station is also prohibiting general cases of corruption and illegality. Due to the large number of public and confidential units under its jurisdiction, the work is also very busy.

By late August, XXX, a guerrilla commander stationed in Huaxian and Junxian counties north of the Yellow River, met with Yang Wei and reported that Yue Quanzhong (nicknamed Yue Dogtou), commander of the guerrilla column stationed in Huaxian County, had secret contacts with the CCP, and Yue Quanzhong had secretly organized peasant armies in his garrison and hid in the countryside near Xinxiang, preparing to act as an internal response when the communist army attacked Xinxiang. After Yue Quanzhong accepted the task, he sent his brother to Zhengzhou with a huge amount of money to buy guns and ammunition and secretly transport them to Xinxiang for backup.

Yang Wei believed that this was true, believing that this was a secret expansion activity planned by the CPC, but he was afraid of being implicated in some officers of the Sixteenth Corps of the garrison, and for fear of provoking right and wrong, it was difficult for the station department to be responsible, so on the one hand he sent personnel to investigate according to the clues provided by the commander; on the other hand, he asked the Secrecy Bureau to notify the Zhengzhou garrison to assist in handling the matter.

With the assistance of Li Yukuan, the head of the spy team sent by the second headquarters of the Sixteenth Corps, within two days, Yue Mou and three other people who were about to buy guns and ammunition were all arrested, and more than ten pistols, rifles, and light machine guns were found in the hotel where they lived, with a total of more than 100,000 rounds of various bullets, which can be described as stolen goods.

After interrogation, Yue Quanzhong confessed that he was a captain and aide-de-camp of the Xinxiang Commissioner's Office in northern Henan, and that he had been dispatched by Zhang Jingzhong, the commissioner of Xinxiang, to Zheng with money, to buy guns and ammunition, to replenish local teams, and to strengthen the strength of the war against the Chinese Communists. Although he was beaten with non-punishment and sat on a tiger stool, Yue and others cried bitterly for days and insisted that they did not admit to having any connection with the CCP.

While the interrogation was under way, Zhang Jingzhong, the commissioner of northern Henan, had sent another adjutant to Zhengzhou to meet Yang Wei and ask for his release.

After Yang Wei sent personnel to investigate in many ways, Fang knew that the guerrilla commander XXX Su and Yue Quanzhong did not get along well, and vainly tried to take advantage of the opportunity that his brother was sent to Zhengzhou by the Xinxiang Commissioner's Office to buy guns and ammunition, and many parties spread rumors to trap Yue Quanzhong for crime. Yang Wei knew that he had been deceived, and he made an ugly deal for himself, but the Emergency Telegraph Secrecy Bureau handed over all the gun purchase cases to the Second Division of the Sixteenth Corps Headquarters for handling, in order to shirk responsibility.

Later, when it was learned that the guns and ammunition seized were all stolen and sold by the lower-ranking officers of the corps, it was inconvenient to pursue them openly, so at the request of the Xinxiang commissioner, Yue and others were released, and all the guns and ammunition were returned to the case.

Serial (4) Liu Mao'en arrested Yang Wei, Yang Wei regurgitated Liu Mao'en's dismissal, and the dog bit the dog's mouth

At the beginning of October 1948, the Zhengzhou Station of the Secrecy Bureau learned that Sun Yuanliang's department of the Sixteenth Corps of the Troops stationed in Zhengzhou had been ordered by Chiang Kai-shek to withdraw its troops to the Yuwan Border Region, and the station ordered all its personnel to make preparations and planned to withdraw the station headquarters to Kaifeng first to observe the movements. At this time, Xie Meicun served as the inspector of the station.

One morning, when Xie Meicun was getting up at his home in Fushou Street, two guests suddenly entered the room, one was Zhang Yumeng, deputy director and acting director of the military liaison station of the former Secrecy Bureau's Jinji-Hebei-Yu Border Region, and the other was Wang Wei, former head of the Xuchang group of the Kaifeng Station of the Secrecy Bureau and Xuchang investigator of the Provincial Government Investigation Office. Zhang Wang and his wife were captured by the communist army when Xuchang was liberated in 1947, and it is rumored that the CCP has punished them for traitors and secret agents.

Xie Meicun was thinking, but Zhang Wang and the two of them scrambled to say: Old Xie! Don't believe the rumors outside, after we were captured in Xuchang last year, the communist policy not only did not kill the prisoners, but also treated both of us very favorably, and after studying, we have now been released home and made self-employed. "And advised me not to worry about anything in times of war.

Because they were in a hurry to go elsewhere to meet their friends and resolutely not to eat breakfast at Xie Mei's village, they said that if they had a chance today, they might have to meet Yang Wei station manager at the Zhengzhou station department. Xie Meicun could not hold back, so he had to say to them: "When there is time, I ask you to take a bath in Xie Mei village." "That is, send the two people out of the house."

After breakfast, Xie Meicun went to the station department to explain to Yang Wei that Zhang Yumeng and Wang Wei had been released by the CCP and returned to Zheng, and had stopped at my house for a while, and said that they might come to the station department today to report to you on the capture and release. Yang Wei immediately asked Xie Meicun:

"Where did they go?" Can you guarantee that they will still come to the station department? Why not take them into custody? If they escape, you are the inspector of the station department, and you are responsible! ”

Xie Meicun listened to Yang Wei's reprimand and regretted not accompanying them to the station. In order to get out of the predicament for a while, he had to say: "It seems that they will not run away, I think they have come to Zhengzhou, and they should also come to see you!" "I resigned."

Sure enough, Zhang Yumeng and Wang Wei did indeed meet Yang Wei at the station at ten o'clock in the morning, and before they could report the release, Yang Wei first opened his mouth to comfort them, and after inquiring about their living conditions, he ordered Zhu Yingda, the head of the accounting unit, to temporarily pay a living allowance of one hundred yuan to each of Zhang Wang, asking them to go back to resettle their wives and then move with the station.

As the Zhengzhou garrison continued to withdraw eastward, Yang Weixian moved the station headquarters to Kaifeng and prepared to act in concert with the provincial government departments.

After Yang Wei arrived in Kaifeng, he called on the famous gentry in exile in kaifeng to try to organize armed forces to fight to the death, and arranged a hidden group in Kaifeng City. Another said to Zhang Yulu and Wang Wei:

"In the current situation, the station department has no work to dispatch." He also wrote a letter of introduction, asking Zhang and Wang to report to the Nanjing Secrecy Bureau, asking the bureau headquarters to send another job, and sending them travel expenses to Beijing. Zhang Wang did not know what the plan was, and also expressed his gratitude for Yang Wei's care and care.

On the one hand, Yang Wei arranged for Zhang Wang to report to the Nanjing Secrecy Bureau, and on the other hand, he secretly ordered Zhang Wenqing, chief of the Kaifeng County Police Bureau, to lead the two policemen to accompany Zhang and Wang in the name of going to Nanjing to handle private affairs.

The above situation was reported to Xie Meicun when he fled to Nanjing in November of that year and saw Zhang Yulu's wife Liu Guilan.
