Guo Quanbao studied with Wang Shaoyun at the age of 8 to learn to sing Peking Opera clowns. Since the age of 11, he has performed in the Tianqiao Civilian Tea Garden with Bai Quanfu and others in the costume funny Erhuang. During this period, he worshiped Yu Junbo as the teacher's teachings and performed on the same stage with Hou Baolin and Bai Quanfu.
