Ni Hua won the "Karl Sherazer Award" for his outstanding contributions to the field of women's competition. FIDE wrote in the award speech that since 2016, Ni Hua has been Ju Wenjun's coach, during the 2020 Women's World Championship, Ni Hua's grandmother died, in order not to let Ju Wenjun be affected in any way, Ni Hua did not tell Ju Wenjun this sad news, nor did he return to China to attend the funeral, but stayed on the field to help Ju Wenjun successfully defend the title of chess queen, showing the persistence and responsibility of an excellent coach.

With his special contribution to the grassroots education of national elephants and his impact on society, Xie Jun, China's first national chess queen, won the "Razuvayev Prize". As China's third Grandmaster, Xie Jun has made outstanding contributions to the promotion of chess in China and the Asian region. In July 2004, Xie Jun became a senior coach at FIDE.

Ye Jiangchuan won the "Pietro Xiang Award" for his special contributions in the field of chess coach training. The FIDE said that after becoming the head coach of the Chinese national team in 2000, Ye Jiangchuan, as a prominent chess player, gradually shifted his focus to the field of coaching. In 2005, Ye Jiangchuan became a senior fides coach, and his coaching experience is of great value to China in training new coaches.

In addition, Kasemzanov (Uzbekistan) received the "Botvinnik Prize" for his outstanding achievements in the field of open competitions; Sergei Zagrebelni (Russia) received the "Dvoretsky Prize" in recognition of his outstanding performance in the field of youth competitions; Yakov Guériel (Russia) received the "Reshevsky Prize" for his training achievements in the field of young elite chess players; The FIDE ASIAN Chess Academy in Amman, operated by Khadr (Jordan), was named the best chess academy and won the "Smeslov Award"; Berwick Aklov (Kazakhstan) from the ABChess Academy won the Online Chess Training Award for his innovation and outstanding performance in online chess training. The famous chess player Aroniyan's enlightenment coach Merisette Hatchyan (USA) won the "Liu Wenzhe Award" named after Liu Wenzhe, a famous Chinese national elephant and former head coach of the national team.
