From May 6 to May 12, the Anti-Fraud Center of the Yuxi Municipal Public Security Bureau issued 36,080 early warnings of various types of wire fraud, persuading them to pay 8,865,132.07 yuan. Last week, some of the telecom network fraud cases that occurred in Yuxi City are as follows, please be vigilant and remind each other. On May 6, Hu Moumou of Tonghai County reported that he saw a merchant selling Apple mobile phones on Xianyu, and after communication, the other party asked to add WeChat transactions, and needed to pay 5,000 yuan first, and he did not receive the mobile phone after the transfer and found that he was deceived, with a total loss of 5,000 yuan. On June 25, Shen Moumou of Chengjiang City reported that he added a friend who handled a loan on WeChat, scanned the QR code sent by the other party to enter the website to fill in the loan information, and the platform showed that the credit score was insufficient when withdrawing, and he needed to transfer to activate the loan funds, and he found that he was deceived after the transfer, with a total loss of 46,999.32 yuan. 3
On May 9, Weng Moumou in Jiangchuan District reported that he saw the WeChat Moments investment rebate case, so he consulted the other party, clicked on the link sent by the other party to download the App, and transferred to the designated account to obtain the rebate according to the guidelines, and found that he was deceived after the transfer, with a total loss of 50,000 yuan.
On April 10, Ma Moumou in Hongta District reported that he received a call saying that there was an internal investment stock group, and he clicked on the link in the group, transferred it to the designated account, and invested in the way of 70% of the stock profit and the other party's stock loss. After the transfer, he tried to withdraw money twice, and then he could not withdraw it, losing a total of 38,924 yuan.
