Founded in 2002 and officially registered in 2005, Blue Ocean is China's first non-governmental non-profit social organization with the theme of marine environmental protection. Since its inception, it has been committed to marine environmental protection public welfare activities, and focused on the deployment of projects in marine cleaning, marine biodiversity, marine environmental protection science education and other aspects. After 16 years of development, it has become the leading and most influential marine environmental protection public welfare organization in China.

As a contemporary young artist. Li Lin has held many solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions of artists, and is good at integrating natural elements into different media, trying to let the viewer experience a more unique exhibition experience. The photographic work "Foraging", jointly launched by Blue Ocean and young artist Li Lin, shows the strong contrast between the ocean and the individual, hoping to make the audience rethink the relationship between the ocean and human beings through the work, thus triggering a discussion on how to make people and the ocean coexist in harmony.

The public welfare art activity also invited Shao Ran, the initiator of the "Ran Love And Voice Nature Conservation Publicity Group", to explain the development and current situation of cetaceans and dolphins with the theme of "Whales, You in the Ocean". Mr. Shao Ran, a former cetacean trainer at the Aquarium, told the audience about the harm of cetaceans in captivity and animal performance through his own experience, making everyone realize that respect for life is the cornerstone of all conservation work.
