Han Haoyue and Ah Lang have known each other for many years and are witnesses to Ah Lang's novel creation, and he said that the two discussed a lot about creative issues. Ah Lang suspended the creation of long stories and switched to novellas, he missed Ah Lang's early novels, and the works in the creation of the youth period could more expose the creator's heart. Now Ah Lang has grown into a mature novelist, and the 5 works included in "Fat Dream" make him lament that Ah Lang has grown so fast.

Li Ruijun said that before he knew Ah Lang, he was very familiar with Ah Lang's text, and he did not fall behind in the "Watching Movies" magazine edited by Ah Lang. Ah Lang's novels are wonderful and easy to read, everything in the story makes people feel both familiar and strange, and the encounters of the characters are heart-wrenching, which is a unique reading experience. The 5 stories in the book are all set in Fularki in the northeast, creating a sense of Fularki's past. As a northwestern person, although he has not been to Fularki, under Alang's description, he has a feeling that the story happens around him, which is the universal side of Alang's story, but this does not mean ordinary, it is Alang who discovers the breadth and inevitability of life, finds the skill of telling life, and makes his story both familiar and strange. This feeling makes the reader have no sense of distance, no obstacles to reading, and a strong sense of picture, like watching a movie, not pure words.

Alang also laughed that many people who have read the novel think that he is from Fularki, although his hometown is close to Fularki, but he has not been there, perhaps this identity of a bystander, so that he can remain rational in the description, although he has a life reference.

Referring to his hometown, Han Haoyue said that he was a native of Tancheng, Shandong, and once could not find the meaning of his hometown writing, but later understood that the record of his hometown was the most meaningful, if the description of his hometown did not form a text to stay, then with the passage of time, who will remember the people and things that were once, only the words let the hometown remain in the long river of time for a long time. This is also the significance of the creation of the novel, which can let many people know the meaning of the existence of the hometown, and the stories of various characters make people enjoy it. Just like the old uncle in one of the "Fat Dreams" "Like Mountains", this iconic character of the times is easy to evoke people's memories. Ah Lang did not directly entangle with his hometown, but melted it between the lines and pulled away the distance, which increased the creative space. In his own stories, Ah Lang has a role of returning to his hometown, and all of them are as bystanders, with a sense of scrutiny, and this arrangement and the meaning shown are more novelist's vision and skill.

Ah Lang said that this arrangement is because he likes the unknown waves behind the peaceful life, blurring the relationship between the real and the unreal, and can find the traces of his own life, and the words help him record these experiences well. Li Ruijun also said that for readers and creators, the reading and creative process is like a journey, and life is a mirror, allowing people to remain alert and constantly reflect.

Speaking about the creation of the book, Alang said: "For more than ten years, I have been a critic, commenting on other people's works as a profession. When I really changed my position and started trying to create a novel, I realized that I needed to go back to the state of elementary school students and start learning from the most basic structure and the most basic dialogue performance. ”

In the novel, Ah Lang attaches great importance to the control of the details of life, and he believes that the characters created in this way have a sense of reality, and the stories told can move people. Han Haoyue also praised ah lang's details in the novel, he said that what impressed him most was "Passing five levels", which is a story about marriage, and the psychological description used by Ah Lang in this story is easy for readers to resonate, this feeling will not be superficial, it will remind people of their families, their past lives, and empathy. Li Ruijun also said that Ah Lang's text is restrained, his capture of details, like a camera, precise and rational; his control of the story, like a director, the use of parallel montage makes the story ups and downs. This technique is most evident in the "Fat Dreams" section, refracting the helplessness of adolescence in the adult world everywhere, making the story tragic and regrettable.
