Longgang students "Cloud" joined hands to trace the footprints of Fan Changjiang

Daily Gansu Network Lanzhou News (New Gansu Gansu Daily reporter Liu Cheng Li Yongping) On September 14, the 2021 "Fan Yangtze River Action" - Longgang students "Cloud" joined hands to re-walk the Fan Yangtze River road activity in Lanzhou. A number of Hong Kong university students will re-walk the road of Fan Yangtze River from the "cloud" and students from major universities in the province to understand the achievements of our province's economic and social development.

It is reported that the "Fan Changjiang Action" was initiated by the Hong Kong Dagong Wenhui Media Group in 2014. In the past eight years, more than 100 students from more than 10 colleges and universities in Hong Kong and students from colleges and universities in the province have gone deep into longyuan to record the rapid development and changes of the motherland and their own observations and feelings with pens and lenses, and published more than 80 pages of reports in the "Ta Kung Pao" and "Hong Kong Wen Wei Po", narrowing the distance between Longyuan and Hong Kong.

At the launching ceremony, student representatives from Hong Kong and Gansu universities spoke separately. Hong Kong student representative Lam Wai Hsin said that this event gave Hong Kong media students the opportunity to narrow the distance with the motherland, explore this hot land from the perspective of Hong Kong people, and witness the motherland's remarkable achievements in cultivating talents, promoting the development of innovation and technology and agricultural transformation. Qiu Shumin, a student representative of Gansu University, said that she looks forward to learning from and exchanging with Hong Kong students, focusing on Gansu together and showing the style of Gansu under the changing times.

After the launching ceremony, Hong Kong students conducted a "cloud visit" and "cloud interview" on the cultivation, production and marketing of lilies in Qilihe District of Lanzhou City through video link, and gained an in-depth understanding of the local experience and practices of developing the lily industry.

In the coming week, 16 students from 8 institutions in Hong Kong will go to Dingxi, Tianshui, Longnan, Linxia and other places through online interviews with 14 students from 6 colleges and universities in the province to experience the great changes that have taken place in Gansu.
