Cao Jian, director of the Standing Committee of the Langzhong Municipal People's Congress, led the Municipal Water Affairs Bureau, the Market Supervision Bureau, the River Chief's Office and other relevant departments to inspect Yutai, Shuiguan and other places to investigate the operation of the river chief system of the Dahuixi River.
The Dahuanxi River is a tributary of the left bank of the Jialing River, originating from the Zhaojiagou Reservoir in Yutai Town, Langzhong City, flowing through the Southern County through panmachang in Shuiguan Town, and joining the Jialing River in Yilong Chaijing Township, with a basin area of more than 100 kilometers.
At the Zhaojiagou Reservoir in Yutai Town, Cao Jian learned in detail about the water affairs bureau director Chen Zhiming and the mayor of Yutai Town, Gao Min, on water resources protection, water pollution prevention, water environment governance, and water ecological restoration, and asked the city, township, and village to link up with each other, carry out three-level river patrols, strengthen responsibilities at all levels, strengthen publicity, and clarify the list of problems, targets, tasks, and measures. Cao Jian pointed out that it is necessary to make full use of the volunteer team to carry out white garbage cleaning, prevent non-point source pollution, eliminate breeding, people and livestock sewage discharge, and further enhance the awareness of the majority of villagers that "green water and green mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains" to love the river and long-term management awareness, form a good atmosphere for everyone to participate in the work of the river chief system, improve the rural domestic garbage disposal mechanism, and ensure the normal operation of sewage treatment facilities.
Cao Jian stressed that cities, townships, and villages should further consolidate their work responsibilities, implement them layer by layer according to the work requirements of the river chief system, focus on governance and control, implement tracking services, supervise to the point, implement to the head, and achieve the goals of river smooth bank solidity, water quality standards, river surface cleanliness, and green scenery on the bank.
Along the way, Cao Jian also inspected the operation of the river treatment and sewage treatment plant in Shuiguan Town, and learned about the daily sewage treatment volume, filtration process, and discharge standards.
Up to now, the source of the Dahuanxi River has banned a farm, a fish farming place in fertile water, and built 350 new sanitary toilets, forming a good atmosphere in which every household emphasizes cleanliness, households pay attention to hygiene, and six shun and six clean.
